To be completely honest, this design looks better as artwork than as live action CGI, lol. Anyway, as a side note, I'm mostly fine with the design, save for the nightmare inducing mouth of his. But I'm sad knowing that they could have done better but simply chose not to, lol.

Oh goddamnit, the look of Sonic is FINE, people. How the heck do you think a talking Hedgehog is going to look like in a REAL WORLD scenario?? Far different from the "Pikachu" movie, that's fer sure.
Although that "Meow" scene in the Teaser could use a touch-up, though.

I'm really glad you like the new design, while I am mixed on it I have gotten use to it now and I feel he will be a decent portrayal of Sonic (The Personality seems spot on) plus his eyes are still large and not pinprick actual hedgehog eyes like quite a few fans were theorizing. I love the way you drew his different expressions I've never seen something look so cool and cute at the same time.

The design looked fine for the majority of scenes in the trailer, particularly where it was well-lit and his colors weren't washed out. I don't have a problem with the body. If they just made the eyes a little bigger and altered the mouth a little, that might alleviate some of the tension. I don't know if it's possible to do at this point, but it'll be fine if they can't.
