What is it about the traditional way this is drawn that looks Soooooooooooo much better than in the actual movie? I'm SURE that's why they went with it-Here he looks like half way decent...these are pretty expressive which is what Sonic should be. But when he's translated to CGI it just doesn't work...hmm. I've seen so many good drawings of the movie sonic it makes me almost feel bad for the fan backlash, but than again I do understand it-in the film he just looks creepy. I hope the VFX team isn't overworked in trying to make him look better than he currently does. This is quite good BTW.Β

Great art on Sonic! Just watch the trailer and it looks awesome! I understand why the backlash and criticism of the design is about. I'm glad the director is going to change Sonics' design because of the criticism and backlash.
Jim Carrey is a great choice for Doctor Robotnik! Can't wait to see the movie and the 2nd trailer when it releases to reveal the new design for Sonic The Hedgehog. Does anyone agree with me?
