Mario & Luigi have just heard the news that Charles Martinet will no longer be voicing them in upcoming games. They are both really devastated about it. Sonic & Shadow then find them both outside and comfort them.

Sonic tells Mario that he has similar experiences whenever he got switched to different voice actors in his games over the years (including Jason Griffith who voiced both Sonic & Shadow in the 2000s), while Shadow reassures Luigi that even though this is the end of an era, the memories they had of Charles voicing them will always live on and will never be forgotten. And both plumbers are at least glad to hear that Charles isn't leaving Nintendo completely but will stay on as the official Mario Ambassador.

So yeah, a rather unexpected upload but when I heard the news that Charles is retiring from voicing Mario & Luigi (as well as Wario & Waluigi) I had to do something for this unfortunate news, but still I'm glad Nintendo isn't letting him go completely and we'll always have the memories and past games to remind us of his amazing talent.
