a little teaser for A Tale of Heroes 3

in here, poor Sophia Torres, AKA Sophie 1, fell victim to a destructor's curse that feeds on negativity around her and inside of her. such as sadness, despair, anger, and the most prominent emotions she felt were guilt, failure and grief.

and destructors took the chance to curse her soul, turning her into a murderous demon when the corruption reached its peak unless her soul is purified.

even then, knowing what happened to her left Sophia falling apart mentally and emotionally even more now that she is carrying a powerful curse that she, like all magical warriors who fell victim to their curse, has to bear.

so now, Sonic is here consoling the younger Sophie who is being tormented by the curse of the destructors, being reminded of himself when he and the older Sophie were cursed by Mephiles. the difference between the two curses is that a destructor's curse doesn't spread to other people like the curse of the dark sun does. it feeds on all varieties of negativity from both outside and inside. and he knew it was too much for the young human to bear, especially since the older Sophie ascended to the celestial realms and vanished from mortal existence.

so now he's playing the role of a caring older brother in this dark time of Sophie 1's life, making sure she doesn't do what he did while he was cursed, and after he was freed of it upon Solaris' defeat.
