(the next day in Bellbridge, London, in a large stadium filled with people cheering with the monitor shows the scores between the two teams, showing that it is so far a tie.  William Taylor was seen running across the field as one of his team members passes the ball to him. Will catches the ball with his feet and saw four members of the other team in front of him. Will smiles and turns to the four with a confident look on his face... he starts running through the other team and kicks the ball so hard, he successfully kicks the ball to the goal.

the people cheer when Will's team has won the game, as does his father, who gave off a proud look in his eyes as he saw the game from the TV of his home. moments later, Will was given a trophy since he led his team to another victory in football.)

(hours later, Will opens the door to his home while carrying his trophy.)

Will: I'm home!

Will's Father: William! (runs over and hugs his son)

Will: Hey, dad!

Will's Father: I've watched the game from the TV! your mother and I are so proud of you, son!

Will: hehehehehehe!

Will's Mother: (enters) Lunch is ready, boys!

Will's Father: what have you prepared today, dear?

Will's Mother: its a surprise. >wO (kisses her husband's cheek) in order to celebrate our son's victory in the game today!

(Will smiles and looks over at a photo of himself and his parents when he was much younger. he remembered a time in his early childhood, when he saw his father playing soccer against another team in the stadium, kicking the ball straight for the goal, earning a victory for himself and his team. the crowds cheer as Will's father was lifted up by his teammates, waving to the audience as he and his team won the game. the young William Taylor smiled brightly, as he was instantly hooked to football by watching his father. and so, the flashback ends when Will declared his dream to be like his father, a football player.)

(later that night, Will fell asleep early this time, and he ended up in the Dream Gate once more. he saw Elliot Edwards and Sophie arriving to this spot at the same time he did.)

Elliot: Will!

Will: Elliot! its good to see you!

(the two boys high fived each other.)

Elliot: I saw you play that football game from the TV today, you were absolutely brilliant!

Will: thanks!

NiGHTS: Is that why you couldn't get to the Dream Gate last time?

Will: Yeah, I had to practice really hard for the soccer game at Bellbridge. sorry I couldn't come by!

Elliot: I'm sorry too! I'm currently practicing for the Basketball tournament that will take place at the same time as the Twin Seeds Festival!

NiGHTS: I see.

Sophie: well, we all got stuff to do in the waking world. -w- (looks around and sees a door) and hey, there's a door to Nightopia!

Will: (looks at the door) this one leads to my dream world!

Lana: shall we go in then?

Will: Sure!

(and with that, William Taylor opened the door to nightopia, which is an empty amusement park in the middle of a desert. this time, much of the amusement park is covered in sand, as the three visitors and the two nightmarens were caught in the middle of a heavy sandstorm)

Sophie: Jeez, what's up with this sandstorm?!

Will: I don't know! this place is a symbol of my heart's resolve, but also reflects the loneliness I feel from time to time!

Elliot: loneliness?

Will: there are times that dad has to leave for business purposes, and I try my best to remain strong for him until he comes back! but during those times, there are those feelings of loneliness and fear that I might never see him again...which might be the reason behind this sandstorm!

Lana: that, and the presence of nightmarens who seek to take advantage of your emotions through that fear and loneliness to steal your ideya.

NiGHTS: Hmm... Huh? (looks over and gasps when she sees a blue octopus-like creature) Is that...?! OWO

Lana: Huh?! O~O

NiGHTS: ITS OCTOPAW! (Flies after the octopus-like creature) SQUEE! >W<

Lana: Damn it, NiGHTS! Not that bloody octopus again!!! >~<; (Sighs, facepalms) what am I going to do with you...? -.-'

Will, Sophie, Elliot: O.O'

Elliot: should we go after her?

Lana: Well...lets just have her play around with that creature for a while. UwU;

(And with that, NiGHTS chased Octopaw around the desert as it was  leaving a trail of rings behind for her to pass through. Sometimes, Octopaw shoots ink, obscuring the rings he left behind. deciding to tag along, Lana followed NiGHTS as the two nightmarens chased the cowardly creature as they passed through rings. they even went underwater, with NiGHTS and Lana both turned into mermaids as they swam after Octopaw underwater, and back in the air.

once they got enough links, the two nightmarens stared at each other, smiling.)

NiGHTS: that was fun! don't you think? OwO

Lana: Well...yes. it was fun indeed. -w-

(then they hear a familiar voice saying...)

(the two looked behind and saw Reala before them.)

NiGHTS: (Angrily) Reala! what do you want this time?

Reala: why, I'm hurt! that is no way to greet a fellow nightmaren!

Jackle: (comes in) Yeah! you two ought to do better than give us the cold shoulder!

NiGHTS: Jackle! why are you two here?

Reala: to take you back to the realm of nightmare! what else do you think, my dear treacherous sister? ÒwÓ

Lana: Leave her alone, you coward! Ò.Ó

Reala: me? a coward? You're one to talk...escaping the judgement of our master as you defected from nightmare so long ago before, which led to the death of your precious sister!

NiGHTS: O.O

Reala: Even now you are trying to run from what has happened, Lana, I can see it in your eyes.

Lana: Don't talk like you know anything about me! you didn't even exist when it happened!

NiGHTS: Lana, what is he talking about?

Lana: I...I... (sighs and looks down, distressed)

Reala: oh? so you did not tell NiGHTS about your dark secret, did you? well, I will be sure you tell her everything once you two are taken back into nightmare, and this world's ideya is taken. come, Jackle! we will leave this work to Chamelan and the third level nightmarens!

Jackle: Ahhh, Phooey! I wanted to have some action!

Reala: your time will come, but it's not now. -.- besides, we have more important matters to attend to at this time!

Jackle: oh, alright!

(the two male nightmarens fly off, as a horde of nightmarens appeared coming to the desert. NiGHTS gently held Lana's shoulder, as she saw the distress in her eyes, telling her not to listen to Reala. Lana nodded and gently held her hand that held her shoulder, taking a few deep breaths before she calmed down.

just like the previous times, NiGHTS went down and dualized with William Taylor, and they, along with Lana and Sophie took flight to the air to save this dream world from Nightmare's influence, while Elliot escorted the Nightopians present to a safer zone and hide from the sandstorm.

the four took care of a variety of third level nightmarens, such as Goodles, Seapos, Mewwys, Scaropions and the Awakers, as they flew through the sandy hills and mountains, and nearby dead trees, as they resist the force of the winds coming from the powerful sandstorm. NiGHTS even turned into a roller coaster to save several nightopians from falling off cliffs by a few nightmarens present.)

(then, when all of the nightmarens were taken care of, a bright blue light appears. it was the blue ideya of intelligence, which went over to NiGHTS, as she absorbed it into the red gem on her chest, causing her outfit to change.)

(and then, everything went white for a moment, engulfing NiGHTS, Lana, Will and Sophie.

when everything turned normal, the four found themselves in  a surreal cavern with playing cards and floating spotlights. The arena is shrouded by a void with plant life hidden behind it. then, they see Chamelan, the lizard stage magician hiding inside of the curtain using his spatial distortion ability.

to defeat Chamelan, NiGHTS had to paraloop the curtain to find him. also, her attacks were now water based because of the ideya's influence on her. Once she accomplish that, Lana shot at Chamelan with her crescent bow and arrow, and he attempts to hide inside the curtain once again. this time he manipulated his cards to chase his opponents around to keep himself safe.

the four escape the cards successfully as NiGHTS once again paraloops the curtain, finding Chamelan once more, and Sophie shot two lightning bolts at the magician. Chamelan tries to hide again.

the fight got a little more difficult as NiGHTS tried to paraloop the curtain, only to be met with bombs that exploded on her face. which made Lana look over and shoot at the curtain, looking around to see where the cowardly nightmaren was hiding. then she shot at the curtain, revealing Chamelan was indeed hiding in their, and NiGHTS flew over and paraloops the magician in a watery paraloop, defeating him at last.)

(when Chamelan was defeated, NiGHTS took out a guitar and started playing it.)

(when NiGHTS started playing, blue music notes appeared out of her, and spread throughout the desert, causing the sandstorm to cease, the flowers to bloom and several trees to grow and come back alive, and create rivers to bring life back to this lonely dream world, causing the nightopians to cheer as they looked around their changing surroundings. thus, NiGHTS successfully saved the Lost Park, and secured Ideya of Intelligence.)

(meanwhile in the nightmare realm...)

Selph: In the end Chamelan was indeed a cowardly failure...

Jackleto Reala) See? Told you sending out Chamelan was a bad idea. -.-;

Reala: Quiet, you gambling loon!

Wizeman: As I suspected... none of the nightmarens I gave back life to was successful in bringing down NiGHTS and steal the ideyas of those visitors! it seems that this task belongs to the much older nightmarens that I have created thousands of years ago!

Reala: older nightmarens?

Selph: Those three nightmarens are as old as...well...as old as Lana is. two are first level, and one is second level. and they all have their roles to play in our plan to destroy Nightopia and rule over the whole night dimension!

Wizeman: indeed. the nightmarens Reala has sent have all failed me. so I would give the honor of sending out my much older creations to you, Selph.

Reala: W-What? Master, I don't understand! I am the chief enforcer and general of nightmare! you can't possibly replace me with Selph when it comes to my role as your right hand man!

Wizeman: SILENCE, REALA!

Reala: Y-Yes, Master!

Selph: now who shall I send out first, master?

Wizeman: Send out the first level nightmaren. the one who is a powerful spell caster, and have her take away the ideya of one of those visitors the next time.

Selph: Seria the caster. I do sense promise in this first level nightmaren. since she was recently created by your mighty hands, she will be one of those who will bring us to glory!

Reala: but what shall I do, Master?

Jackle: yeah, what do we do?

Wizeman: you two will stay put until I assign you to the next task.

Reala: Yes, Master Wizeman. U.U

(And with that, the two flew away... moments later, Reala looks out at the crimson moon that shone its dim light over the realm of nightmare, and sighed heavily. he remembers the good times, when he and NiGHTS were only recently created by Wizeman, flew around nightmare, worked together in stealing ideyas from visitors. despite how Wizeman treated them both like an abusive father, from time to time, it didn't seem to affect either of the two nightmaren siblings...that was until NiGHTS defected and escaped to nightopia, as she saw that she was being lied to and manipulated by her own creator. )

Reala: why did you have to leave, NiGHTS? why...did you have to leave me behind? what was the real reason behind your treachery?
