Angelus Prime, the last Cybertronian of Her Timeline, instructed Rebecca, her Human friend to take to Take Shelter in a nearby building along with Gloria, Gabby,Nathan, Andrea and Marie, as Eggman's new robot army began to swarm Station Square when they exited the Swirling Golden portal, which Eggman came out of when the five crystals were under his possession. Angelus slaughters several robots coming her way with her arm blades and once she set her Optics upon the Mad doctor himself,She had a furious look in her optics. )Angelus: Eggman!
Dr Eggman: Angelus Prime! Enjoying the Show I Presume?
Angelus: What you have done to Seraphine was cruel even for you! and I promise you WILL Pay for it! whatever it is that You Plan, I Assure you it will fail...Just as all of its predecessors!
Dr Eggman: We shall see about that.
(Angelus leaped up and grabbed the Egg mobile before it could fly Away. more of Eggman's robots arrived and swarmed the city.)
Nathan: WOAH! There's too Many of them! I've been watchin' too much Avengers.
(Angelus takes notices of several G.U.N Soldiers aiming their guns at Dr Eggman. with the commander standing in the front facing The doctor)
Abraham: This is Your Last Warning, Eggman! take your robots and leave this city immediately!
Eggman: Hohohohoho!!! I already Have what I Need. and You Can't Stop Me from building My Own Empire! and we all have Seraphine to thank for that! Also... (blasts Angelus and the G.U.N Soldiers with an energy beam Coming from the control crystal and activates An Electric Net that is being thrown at the humans and mobians' direction. capturing Amy in the Process)
Tails,Nathan,Andrea,Gabby And Marie: AMY!!!
Amy: HELP ME!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!! (Loses consciousness as she was shocked violently from the electric net)
Gloria: Grrrr....
Eggman: (flies off cackling evilly While Amy was once Again Captured by him)
Angelus: Scrap!! he got away!
Abraham: (looks around the chaos and devastation caused in the city because of Eggman's swarm of robots) Damn You to Hell, Dr Eggman!
(Sophie, Sonic, and Knuckles were the last to come out of the portal Eggman created before it closed. they looked around shocked as they saw the city being devastated)
Sophie: Holy Shit dude...
Sonic: Eggman sure went full Bad this time!
Knuckles: This is ALL Seraphine's Fault!!
Sophie: Knuckles...
Knuckles: If She hadn't had these crystals to begin with, None of this would've happened! and now that Eggman has them...GRR! everything's turning upside down!
Sophie: This Wasn't her fault,Knuckles. we didn't even Know Eggman used her as Bait to lure us in and destroy us! or try too, at least... but she's not the one to blame.
Knuckles: Maybe this wasn't her fault, but it was rather Yours!
Sophie: WHAT?! How is this My Fault?
Knuckles: Maybe if you haven't freed Seraphine from this crystal, Eggman wouldn't have captured her and use her to take over the world! Are All Lythians this dense?
Sophie: Why You---
Sonic: Woah! Hold it, You two! before we start destroying each other, We should seriously check on Seraphine And the others! They Can't be too far from here. besides, it really wasn't Seraphine's fault to begin with! I'm sure there's a reason for all this.
(Sophie and Knuckles looked at each other and Took a deep breath)
Knuckles: Sorry about that,Kiddo. I Shouldn't have said those things. You know How I Am in situations like this.
Sophie: I Know. I'm sorry too Knux. that was unexpected.
Knuckles: So, we're cool?
Sophie: Dude! we're best buddies! (both shake hands) but you really should watch your temper though...
Knuckles: HEY!!!
(Later that Night, At the Geetman siblings' house...the trio met up with The Humans, the Femme Autobot and The two tailed fox.)
Sonic: Glad to see you guys are okay! Hey, Where's Amy?
Gloria: Eggman got her.
Nathan: She's been Kidnapped Again!
Sonic: WHAT!? No way!
Knuckles: first he gets Seraphine...Now Amy Too!?
Nathan: He sure has a fetish for kidnapping people. just Saying.
Marie: We gotta help her!
Tails: But how? Eggman's new army of robots Is too strong!
Rebecca: they just left the city a few moments ago! after, Y'know, the city's in a bad shape...
Sophie: At least not as bad as Perfect Chaos' Assault a few years ago. by the way, How's Seraphine?
Gabby: Seraphine's okay,Sophie-chan. She's resting in your room right now. you can Go see her if you want to.
Sophie: (Smiles) thanks! (runs to the room)
Andrea: She looks....
Marie: Happy?
Gloria: She's just glad Her friend's okay. She's not the type of person who would leave someone behind.
Marie: I See...
Angelus: Sophie Sure seems different from what she was before... she's become Someone stronger and greater.
Sonic: Heh! the Kid's growing stronger every day!
(At Sophie's Room, Seraphine was already awake and looked rather downcast)
Sophie: Seraphine? Are you Okay?
Seraphine: I'm fine...Just A Little dizzy. But I'll be alright. what happened?
Sophie: Well, Eggman captured you and we went to the Moon to Save you. but we couldn't stop him from getting your crystals, and activating their power. he sent Swarms of robots from the moon all the way here. they were too much for us to handle. not to mention, Amy Got Captured.
Seraphine: (horrified) Oh No....This...This is All My Fault! I Didn't realize I Was Used as a bait to trick you! and I Couldn't guard the crystals well enough to prevent him from getting them!
Sophie: Seraphine...
Seraphine: These crystals were supposed to be Tools...they were supposed to Help Our People! but now because of My Stupidity, I Put All of you in Danger! (Her eyes become watery with tears)
Sophie: (Puts her hand on her shoulder) Sera, Its okay. Nobody blames you for anything. none of us expected this to happen. I'm sure we'll find a way to stop Eggman from succeeding on this Plan.
Seraphine: (tears flowed down) I Crafted those Damn Things! and its My Fault that man has an option on using them to transport his armies And wreck havoc Across this Planet...
Sophie: You didn't betray anyone. If anything, Its Eggman we should Blame. not You.
Seraphine: You should've just left me on the Moon For eternity...then No one could've gotten these crystals.
Sophie: I Can't bear do that,Sera. I...You know....Besides Inferna, and the other three guardians, I Was really happy that I've found another surviving Lythian.
Seraphine: ....
Sophie: You see, My life wasn't that easy either. I've spent my entire life here on Earth, my adoptive parents weren't very nice... and I barely had any friends. the only ones I Could ever consider them friends were Gloria,Gabby and Nathan. I Couldn't control my powers very well. Until Sonic came along. we went on many adventures together, and encountered new friends,rivals and enemies...and then The Most unpleasant experience happened when I Got myself tortured. that's when I Realized I Wasn't Really A Human. I Was searching desperately for the truth about myself. until A Fateful Accident happened and I Arrived back to Planet Tarlax, Our Home. where I Met Spyro,Sparx, Cynder, The Guardians, Hunter...and You. During the Second great war of Malefor.
(Seraphine's eyes widened in shock)
Seraphine: and... you've been living this kind of life the whole time?
Sophie: Well Yeah. then I Encountered some Giant Robots who fought a war, then This world was split apart by A Dark entity, and a lot of crazy things happened since my return to Earth. especially when The whole universe was almost destroyed by a demonic overlord that gave me amnesia. and then Obscuras the slain came along.
Seraphine: Obscuras? You mean THAT Obscuras?
Sophie: That's right! I Didn't even know what was he doing on Earth. until I've found the Amulet of rebirth three months ago.
Seraphine: And...where is it?
Sophie: (Purple glow briefly appears in the middle of her chest) When things got way out of hand, I infused the Amulet with The Glimmer in My Chest. its Already part of me now. that's how I Got you out of your ''sleep mode''.
Seraphine: why would you go this far...for me?
Sophie: Well...Maybe because I Care about you. I mean, You know how Wimpy I Am when it comes to those things.
Seraphine: ...Sophie...
Sophie: (eyes widen upon Seraphine calling her by her earth name) hehe... that's a first time You call me by my Earth name.
Seraphine: what if...what if we won't be able to stop Eggman?
Sophie: (remains silent for a moment. and then She leans closer and Pokes Seraphine's forehead. Something she always does to cheer someone up when in he/she is in doubt) Of course we will succeed! trust me! Like I Said before, We've been dealing with Eggman for a pretty long time!
Seraphine: (Smiles a bit, and notices Sophie leaning closer and pulled her in an embrace. the Lythian Veteran thought about pulling away but decided against it. She found comfort in that hug. After the Horrors she had witnessed during the great war on Tarlax, and after what Eggman had done to her, She felt protected in the Young Shevyrian's Arms. her head rested on her shoulder and returned the hug as tears lazily dripped down. Sophie didn't mind if Seraphine's tears dropped on her. being there for A Broken warrior like Seraphine was Sophie's top priority now) Sophie...even if you don't realize this, you're much braver and stronger than you think. You're A Shevyrian, after all. The Last descendant of our Patron Goddess,Shevyria. one of Tarlax' two saviors. that's why so many look up to you.
Sophie: Thanks...but I'm not doing this because I'm A Shevyrian.
Seraphine: ?
Sophie: Its because I'm not Alone and I Have people I Love. that's what makes me stronger. A World where they don't exist, is Not a world worth saving.
Seraphine: (remembers a conversation they had back in the field) When we spoke earlier today....what could be greater than friends?
Sophie: A Human concept. one that I learned here on Earth: (Looks at a photo of Herself with Gloria,Nathan,Gabby, Sonic,Tails,Knuckles,And Amy, Cream and Cheese on her shelf) Family.
(Seraphine smiles as She and Sophie broke the hug. Sophie learned so much ever since her arrival to this Planet. with their race on the brink of extinction, it would make sense why she chose this world instead of her real one as her shelter.)
(back to Sonic and the others, they were discussing on how to take down Eggman before he could achieve world domination)
Gloria: Not to sound inconsiderate but, If we don't do something, Eggman will wipe us out of existence. and send more of his robots through that gate the crystals create.
Tails: So the main problem is the crystals. we take them out, and Eggman's forces go out.
Knuckles: Yeah! and how are we gonna do that.
Seraphine: (comes in) The Portal is controlled by Something.
Marie: Huh?
Seraphine: By A Special Crystal. that is our only option: To save the Earth, We must Destroy The crystals!
(all gasped)
Sonic: Seriously? Are you gonna blow up your own creation?
Seraphine: I Have no choice if I Don't want them to be the cause to your world's destruction. they may be the things that should've Never been created. now that The enemy has them, they deem a threat to your world's existence.
Rebecca: But you created them to help your people,right?
Angelus: That is the reason you created them, is it not?
Seraphine: yes, that was their original purpose. but now they are to bring destruction instead. but as much as It'll sadden me to see my own work go out in flames, at least I'd be thankful to save lives.
Tails: I Don't know if you'll be able to fight, Seraphine. Eggman did a lot on your head.
Seraphine: If I Can stand, I'm Able to Fight. Besides, it's My own creation that started this mess in the first place! and I'll be the one to End it! I Can't stand there and do Nothing while SHE'S on the front line! (looks at Sophie)
Sophie: (looks at Sera confused)
Seraphine: If A Lythian Must fall...Let it be Me instead of Her.
Sophie: I appreciate you wanna fight with us but... Really, You don't have to do this,Sera.
Seraphine: Maybe not. But I Can never bear the thought of Losing You. that's why I Must do this.
Sophie: (Shocked) Seraphine...
Sonic: Besides, Amy Needs a rescuing! I Don't think I Can handle Losing her.
Nathan: oooooHHHH Someone's in Love!
Sonic: NOT Like That,Nate!!
Angelus: Regardless, we will see what we can do tomorrow. surely we will fight together. But I Believe right now, we all need to rest. for tomorrow is a big day.
Rebecca: its best if we would regain our strength to face what's in front of us.
(they all nodded in agreement and went to take rooms for sleep. Sophie offered Seraphine to sleep in her room. She takes notice of Her worried look)
Sophie: Sera? What's wrong?
Seraphine: I...I Don't think I Can sleep,Sophie.
Sophie: Why Not?
Seraphine: I'm worried about tomorrow.
Sophie: I Know, Things are gonna get pretty rough tomorrow. but you know, You're not alone anymore. is it okay if I'd keep you company?
Seraphine: Thanks,Sophie... (smiles)
Sophie: Anytime!
(Everyone turned in for the Night, the Two Lythians rested by each other's side, Each carrying a piece of comforting hope that they can save Planet Earth from Dr Eggman together. All to prevent Humanity to face the same fate their Kind did years ago. )
