In my latest story, Sonic Angels, Samyaza unleashed a beam made of fire and sulphur at the Resistance HQ, destroying it in the process, and Sophie happened to be caught in the explosion
and she gets fatally injured, and dies 3 days later, in spite of Aira trying to keep her alive. and just then, when things looked grim and hopeless, a light shines through the darkness.
it was the light of none other the creator, supreme father of all created beings throughout the universe, shining his light to revive her from death.

and so she rises up, like a phoenix, stronger than before, to fight again...
