Knuckles: so, you got any ideas to Sonic's whereabouts?
Tails: (takes out his datapad, then frowns.) No. he's my data pad can't track him anywhere on this island, or any other island we've visited prior. Sophie, do you know the last time you've seen Sonic?
Sophie: (sighs, crossing her arms with a somber look on her face.) before my soul was imprisoned in Cyber Space, while Sonic and I were undoing the six towers on Rhea Island, I saw his body change...like...it turned dark. unnatural. and from the way he spoke, it was as if...he was forgetting important things. even his own name.
Amy: This is awful! you and Sonic worked so hard to save us, resulting in your soul almost being destroyed in Cyber Space, and Sonic literally vanishing into thin air! if only...if only we hadn't put such a heavy burden onto you two!
Knuckles: none of this was our fault, Amy. you should know that no one could have predicted what would happen to them once they would free us.
(Sophie looks down with an expression of guilt on her face, unable to say anything) ÚmÙ
Bendy: (in his small toon form, reaches his hand up to Sophie's hand despite being in his ghostly form) don't worry, sweetheart. we're gonna find him. wherever he may be now.
Sophie: I know...but things are going to get more complicated this time around. digging up portal gears, getting keys, unlocking the vaults to get the Chaos Emeralds...not to mention battling the guardians.
Sage: there is no need to give up just yet. I have run a simulation that if we split up to get the chaos emeralds from their vaults, everything that's needed to be done to unlock the emerald vaults will be accomplished sooner than I previously calculated.
Knuckles: she's right! we can't leave Sophie do all the hard work by herself now, can we?
Tails: that's right! there's six of us here, and six emeralds to collect, no matter where they are!
Sophie: there's also the last emerald which is found on whatever Titan that's still around.
Amy: Sonic did everything he could to save us, its time we return the favor!
Knuckles: Sage, right? keep an eye on Sophie for us, alright?
Sage: I will.
Bendy: (to Sophie) Be careful, okay?
Sophie: (kneels down, kisses his forehead) you too, sweetie. -////w////-
Bendy: ^////w////^
(and so, the group split up to different locations all around Starfall Islands, leaving Sophie and Sage to explore the island for a bit and guide her in her quest to convert the Cyber Corruption in her into a powerful asset at her disposal.)
Sophie: So, uhh...Sage?
(Sage turns to Sophie)
Sophie: did Cyber Space interact with my and Sonic's brains or something?
Sage: it was designed to catalogue neural networks, among other things, so yes.
Sophie: So...you think all those locations we visited were pulled from our memories?
Sage: that is plausible. it imported the data of your memories and applied it to your surroundings so you could comprehend them.
Sophie: well now, since some of my own memories included Soleanna's Wave Ocean, My Dream World of the Sky Kingdom, and Tarlax's Valley of Avalar, maybe that gave me the edge I needed to escape each time? well, turns out that I was covering familiar ground. still, that doesn't explain why my friends, and even Eggman were trapped in Cyber Space.
Sage: the only way to protect the doctor from impending doom was to protect him in Cyber Space. I wanted to shield him from external influences. and I didn't expect you, Sonic and your friends to arrive.
Sophie: so, that's why you locked up my friends and were antagonistic towards us. still, we weren't gonna leave the Titans alone either, but lets just leave it at that. its a little too late to say sorry to each other, so lets focus on setting things right.
Sage: ...
''KRONOS ISLAND''
(Meanwhile, Amy was looking around, running through multiple areas of Kronos island.)
Amy: Alright, time to find some emeralds!
Tails: (Telepathically) the Chaos Emeralds always wound up in the Ancients' vaults. let's look there!
Knuckles: (Telepathically) securing Emeralds in vaults? what will they think of next?
Bendy: hey, we better hurry Knucklehead!
Knuckles: don't rush me, Bendy, I'm looking!
Amy: (looks inside an empty vault) wait... it's not here? why isn't it here?
Tails: (Telepathically) the vault I found was empty. I'll try another. you should too!
Knuckles: (telepathically) what good are these vaults if they don't do their job?
Amy: (goes inside a cave, activating switches here and there, encounters another empty vault.) Maybe I can get some insight with my fortune cards!
(pulls out her fortune cards and places them before her. but every card she gets, she gets agitated and frustrated)
Amy: all these cards are telling me is that things are ''obsucured'' and ''danger approaches''. I knew that already! (puts back the cards, then with a sudden realization.) wait! ''seek insight from unfamiliar places''? Oh, the Koco! of course! they should be able to help!
Tails: (Telepathically) All the vaults are empty! wait, you have a lead? tell me what you found!
Knuckles: (telepathically) What if someone beat us to them? Rouge! the Babylon Rogues! Aaron, maybe? they better not or I'll have bust them up!
Bendy: (telepathically) Hey! We don't talk about Aaron! especially after what he did to all of us like the backstabbing coward he is!
Knuckles: (telepathically) Ughhh! whatever! forget the vaults, I'll find them the old fashioned way. you search for 'em however you want!
(Amy runs through the rain, and encounters one of the Elder Kocos and bows to them in respect.)
Elder Koco: Ah, my kind-hearted friend of Sonic. you have led our people to the digital dream. We thank you.
Amy: it was my pleasure. I'm hoping you can lead me in the right direction. do you know what happened to the Chaos Emeralds?
Elder Koco: our enemies infested the land and are using our creations against us. the Emeralds are here on this island. but we have hidden them with our own technology.
Amy: thanks for the insight! we won't let you down!
(Amy continues onwards to where the Hermit Koco was sleeping, snoring while he stood on his feet. she saw the presence of The End in the sky, and turns to the hermit, clearing her throat to wake him up.)
Hermit Koco: Hrm? who goes there?! oh, the one who traverses the dimensions, I trust you've been well?
Amy: Hello. I'm sorry to disturb you, but you may be our last hope. can you tell me where the Chaos Emeralds are?
Hermit Koco: The enemy is trying to break the seal and escape the digital dream. we have used our technology to combine and hide the chaos emeralds.
Amy: thanks for the insight! we'll be on our way now!
and suddenly encounters one of the guardians.)
''KUNOICHI''
( this fast-paced foe is a deadlier variation of the ninja and shinobi Guardians Sonic and Sophie faced on Kronos and Chaos Islands. This new form will combine the more combat-focused ninja move set with the doppelganger ability of the shinobi. To combat that blend, Amy needs to mainly focus on parrying with her Piko Piko Hammer. once it does send out a doppelganger, the pink hedgehog assumes holds her hammer tightly and waits for the doppelganger to attack. When it does, Amy deflects the attack with a powerful hit of her hammer, utilizing the slow-down effect to homing attack the real Kunoichi and deal as much damage as possible. once the Kunoichi was weakened, Amy Jumps up in the air, and with a powerful swing of her Piko Piko Hammer, A pink tornado is released, destroying the guardian at last as it blows up with Amy landing on her feet.)
( Amy continues onward, focusing on the task ahead, and goes to a nearby cyber portal, inserting the key as she enters Cyber Space, the environment is inspired by Stardust Speedway from her memories. she speeds through the obstacles, hitting and destroying enemies with her hammer, until she reaches the end goal, getting out of Cyber Space and gets a vault key. Amy runs and runs as fast as she could to the vault that contained the blue chaos emerald. the wind was blowing stronly, and had to remain still on the ground to not get blown away as she was reaching the emerald. soon, she reaches the vault, but upon making contact and inserting the key, there was a forcefield that prevented her from taking the emerald. )
Amy: Huh? the Ancients' technology is hiding the emeralds from us!
Knuckles: (telepathically) so hunt down the tech and wreck it? I can handle that!
(back to Sophie and Sage on Ouranos Island, who were overlooking the ruins of the ancients' technology.)
Sophie: well, Tails was right. these ruins were used by the ancients to upload thoughts into Cyber Space. but not their bodies.
Sage: Correct. they desired to archive all their achievements, creations and knowledge.
Sophie: if they couldn't pass it between their own people, even if their descendants perished, they could pass it on to those who would inherit this planet from them.
Sage: This way, they could pass on not only technical knowledge, but their cognizance and intentions as well.
Sophie: so what you're saying is, Cyber Space is a big ol' back-up hardrive for everything about them. a disk that records everything they've done, right? that's so cool!
Sage: -w-
''ARES ISLAND''
(on Ares Island, it was Knuckles' turn to find and collect the chaos emeralds. he glided around, ran through obstacles, climbed walls, rocks and mountains and eventually destroys the first impact form with his fists.)
Amy: (telepathically) I'll keep looking too! we have to hurry!
Bendy: (telepathically) let's keep at it, Knuckles!
Tails: (telepathically) if they're suppressing the emerald's power from your senses, they must be powerful pieces of hardware! I haven't found any yet, but I'll keep looking!
(Knuckles continues on, going upwards to destroy the second impact form with his fists, and have him look for a chaos emerald as he saw the eerie presence of the all consuming presence in the sky.)
Amy: (telepathically) just you wait! I'll get the next one! tell me where one is! I want to smash something too!
Tails: (Telepathically) I know it's necessary, but to destroy such unique, irreplaceable technology breaks my heart...still, I can tell the signal is weakening, we're getting closer.
(Meanwhile, Knuckles was climbing mountains, hills and gliding in the air, looking for the chaos emerald, exploring several ruins of the Ancients' civilization, fully realizing at last that they had a connection with Angel Island and the Chaos Emeralds in general. when suddenly, Knuckles is snaps out of his thoughts as he finally put the pieces together when he encounters a guardian.)
'' SILVER HAMMER ''
(Knuckles avoids projectiles and dashes towards the foe, then attacks its base with his fists. the red echidna keeps going at it until it's at about half health. At this point, the Silver Hammer stops moving and produce two laser beams from its base. Knuckles whittled away the majority of its body by this point in the fight, so he backs up, jumps into the air and punches its head many times, and delivers the finishing blow by delivering a very powerful punch, destroying the guardian as it leaves behind a Cyber gear for Knuckles to pick up.
when Knuckles picks up the Cyber Gear, he glides to the cyber portal which was pretty far off. when he arrives, he inserts the gear, enabling him to enter Cyber Space.
the environment around Knuckles resembles Sky Sanctuary, and he runs through the platforms, gliding in the air, and destroys nearby enemies that dared to get in his way with his brute strength, until he reaches the end goal, exiting Cyber Space with a Vault Key in his hands. the guardian of the Master Emerald glides to the vault containing and tries to unlock it, but was forced backwards by a forcefield, just like Amy, and shook his head slightly disappointed.)
(back to Ouranos Island, Sophie and Sage were overlooking the ruined technology of the ancients as it started to rain.)
Sage: Tens of thousands of years ago, the Ancients arrived on this planet. this planet, was still undeveloped at the time, and their technology was greater and better than anything else.
Sophie: there was a time I thought it was weird, that ancient alien beings came from outer space. floating structures in the sky, gigantic buildings, and all that advanced technology, heck even Cyber Space... Its kind of hard to understand how such highly advanced technology could have existed in prehistoric times, before civilizations even came to be. but I guess it all comes from outer space.
Sage: I wonder. what would the world be like had the Ancients lived...? if it weren't for these circumstances, I'd like to run new simulations.
''CHAOS ISLAND''
(it was Tails' turn to collect a chaos emerald. he flew around, exploring his surroundings, then hears Knuckles' voice.)
Knuckles: (telepathically) so uhh... did that work?
Tails: Yeah! I bet I can bypass that thing holding the Emeralds by accessing Cyber Space!
(Tails flew through around, searching for a Koco device anywhere he could look. he finds the first one, and reactivates the first Koco device.)
Bendy: (telepathically) keep going, Tails! you've got this!
Amy: (telepathically) let me know if I can help!
Knuckles: (Telepathically) this is your arena, kid. I just wish I had something else to punch while I'm waiting.
(Tails, then encounters another Guardian.)
''CATERPILLAR''
(Tails braced himself and pulls out his arm cannon, ready to fight the large spherical robot that spawned grind rails around it when the two tailed fox comes near it. To defeat it, Tails has to skate around the grind rails surrounding it, grabbing the blue orbs that spawn on the rails. However, not only are there red orbs that will hurt the kitsune if he touches them, but the Caterpillar fires a laser beam that he'll have to jump over to evade damage. When enough blue orbs have been collected, the Caterpillar will drop the rails and begin to flee. Tails shoots at the orange button on its back as much as possible, avoiding the lasers the Caterpillar fires. he deals as much damage as he can and then the rail game will start again. Tails stuns the Caterpillar for a second time and lays with powerful swipes his tails, and then drop dummy rings to deliver the finishing blow, destroying the guardian as it blew up into pieces.)
( after defeating the guardian, the kitsune picks up a Cyber gear it left behind upon its destruction, and goes to a nearby Koco Device, reactivating it, enabling Amy and Knuckles to collect the Blue and Red Chaos Emeralds respectively. then, he goes Cyber portal, inserting the key as he himself gets into Cyber Space. the enviromnent around him was similar to Chemical Plant, and he began to dash through the stage, defeating as many enemies that were in the way as possible, until he reaches the end of the stage and exits Cyber Space with a Vault Key.)
(Tails then flew to the location of the third Chaos Emerald which was in the middle of the ocean, reactivating the third Koco device, inserting the Key to unlock the vault, and successfully taking the green chaos emerald from its place and into his hands. soon, he sees the presence of the enemy of the Ancients as well as its voice that darkens the sky and destroys the device before Tails' eyes.)
Tails: No! we've got to find a way back into the system! Sophie is counting on us! and we need to hurry and save Sonic!
(Back to Sophie and Sage who are overlooking the horizon, wondering what to do next.)
Sophie: Tails looks like he needs some help.
Sage: I believe we can proceed once you find a way to activate the starting device and power the statue.
Sophie: well, it would have gone smoothly if we'd been working together from the start. but I guess I had to earn your trust first, huh.
Sage: .... (silent for a moment, then turns to Sophie) do you know how to activate the starting device?
Sophie: well, sure. I may not be a tech expert, but I'm pretty sure I figured out everything up until now. so don't sweat it. -w-
(the white control panel to Sage's right will unlock and Sophie is able to access it. Sophie will now have to complete the second round of the hacking mini-game she and Sonic played on Chaos Island on her own. Like last time, she'll need to navigate the small cursor left and right while the small hexagons above her fire white and black projectiles. the blue angel shoots these projectiles and their senders, but she'll have to alternate between two types of ammo to successfully hit them. White bullets will destroy white projectiles and black bullets will destroy black projectiles. Along the way, Sophie will also want to watch the bar at the bottom of the screen. She can fill it by shooting down projectiles. Once it's full, Sophie can launch a homing missile at the large red orb in the centre of the screen. her goal is to destroy this orb, so she makes sure to charge up her missiles and firing at it whenever possible. the red orb begins firing projectiles and turning this into a straight-up bullet hell shooter. Sophie makes sure she's always firing to give herself the best chance of enduring a tough onslaught of projectiles, and manages to succeed.
after she wins the mini game, the five smaller statues release cyan beams of light to the larger statue, which in turn, caused four towers to glow a bit.)
Sage: (looks at the four towers) do you see these structure? you need to ascend the Four Towers of the Masters. they are memorials to the pilots who gave their lives to save the world.
Sophie: you mean the ones who piloted the titans, right?
Sage: Yes, the very Titans you and Sonic destroyed.
Sophie: Geez, all we did was ask you to explain things from the beginning instead of summoning these titans out of nowhere to kill us, you know.
Sage: that is irrelevent now. Hidden across this island are the components needed to construct the keys to each tower. find them, ascend the towers, complete their trials and you will gain control of the Cyber Corruption, as well as a sacred weapon the ancients left behind.
Sophie: So lets see if I got it correctly. Pieces create keys, Keys unlock towers, and towers give me a boost of power. yep! you got it, Sage. still, its quite ironic. I never told you this but, we ran into each other so many times, and not too long ago, I learned your name.
Sage: we were enemies. furthermore, my name holds no meaning.
Sophie: of course it does! Eggman named you that for a reason, meaning you're important to him. besides, I see for myself that you've grown up during all this.
Sage: You...think he cares about me?
Sophie: well...to be completely honest, your dad's a mess, but you turned out alright. so I guess...he does care about you, in his own way.
(Sophie sees one of the Trial Towers opening up and begins to run, sprout her angel wings and go up to the top of the tower. when she reached the top, she sees a Koco that waited for her, then the environment changes and Sophie looks around and sees one of the pilots, the female ancient who controlled Giganto.)
Ancient: I loved my people. More than my own life, more than anything. I happily gave everything to protect our new home. but... you destroyed my titan, turned off the six final seals! and now you will answer for your ruinous intentions!
Sophie: (worriedly) I didn't know that things would've turned out the way they have! I don't know, the devil made us do it, tricking us to believe it was our ally when it lied to us the whole time?
Ancient: (harshly) Silence!
Sophie: (winces) >m< !!
Ancient: face the consequences of your own destructive actions!
Sophie: Please, Listen! Ugh!- >m<
(Sophie was immediately transported to the Dragon's Trial, facing the Koco before her.)
Koco: On your Mark! Start!
(before her eyes, numerous Asuras appeared and charged at her. Sophie's eyebrows narrowed and began to fight them with her hand to hand combat skills, punching and kicking the enemies, and even performing her Fire Elemental attacks which are the only abilities available to her at this moment, which include shooting fireballs from her hands, the Fire Arrow and the Dragon Flame, overcoming the trial with the burning flame in her heart, successfully completing it. then she is transported back to the top of the tower, facing the deceased Giganto's Pilot.)
Ancient: I understand now. you went to extreme lengths to protect the ones you love. you fight now against the corruption for their sakes.
Sophie: (solemnly, with a repentant heart.) its not the only reason I fight right now. Sonic and I made a terrible mistake when we listened to the mysterious voice in the skies only to find out that we released the enemy that destroyed your people back into our world. we have been tricked and we realized it too late.
Ancient: yes. you have. but I can respect the efforts you are making for them. take my blessing, and use it to defend all that you love.
(and with that, everything turns white as Sophie returns to the present time, seeing the second Trial Tower opening up for her. she immediately goes there, by running and flying across numerous obstacles, eventually reaching the top where she meets the second Koco, and once again is being transported to the past, facing the second Pilot of the Ancients, who was without a doubt, the pilot of Wyvern.)
Ancient: I was one of the greatest warriors among my people. I relished the chance to prove myself against the ultimate foe. I couldn't defeat it in the end, and then I lost to you. face me again, little angel! I demand satisfaction!
(Sophie was immediately transported to the Snake's Trial, facing the Koco before her.)
Koco: On your Mark! Start!
(in this trial, Sophie had to face, she had to destroy four asuras that were protected by shields. her only available element at this moment was the Wind Element. she flew up, performing the Cyclone Rotation attack to make the shields fly away to other directions, and then perform the Meteor Dash Attack when they were vulnerable, but had to be careful to not get hit by the shields that sometimes acted like sawblades. she repeated this method four times, eventually succeeding to accomplish the second trial, and is transported back to face the ancient.)
Ancient: You are indeed a formidable warrior. its not just your skills, but your unbreakable spirit.
Sophie: thanks, but...I want to apologize for destroying your titan. it was both out of self defense and for the sake of saving my friends.
Ancient: there is no shame in being defeated by you. Take my blessing, and earn the victory I could not receive!
(and with that, everything turns white as Sophie returns to the present time, seeing the third Trial Tower opening up for her. she immediately goes there, by running and flying across numerous obstacles, breaking through walls with her fists to proceed, and eventually reaching the top where she meets the third Koco, and once again is being transported to the past, facing the third Pilot of the Ancients, who was the pilot of the Knight.)
Ancient: I was once the protege to our greatest hero. I helped design and construct the titans. the fact that you could overcome my designs is...inconceivable. I need more data. Help me understand just what you are!
(Sophie was immediately transported to the Tiger's Trial, facing the Koco before her.)
Koco: On your Mark! Start!
(in this trial, the mechs appeared and ran around her, forming a red circle. Sophie braces herself, looking around which direction the enemies would strike at her, and when they did, she pulled out the Celestial Sword and swings it at them, finishing them one after the other. she used her sword in the same method twice, but when things got more challenging, she used her Lightning element, using her quick wit and strength of the Storms to strike them down with her lightning bolts and her recently acquired ability called the thunder sphere, where her wings sprout forming a sphere of lightning to zap the enemies until they're destroyed, completing her third trial and then transported back to face the ancient.)
Ancient: Simply astounding. I still don't understand how you're able to do what you do. nevertheless, your limitless potential is still fascinating to behold. Take my blessing and continue to defy the impossible! my only regret is that I will not be able to see it.
(everything turns white as Sophie returns to the present time, seeing the fourth and final Trial Tower opening up for her. she immediately goes there, by flying across the island, feeling a bit more stronger than before, as she grinded on rails, and breaking through walls with her fists to proceed, and eventually reaching the top where she meets the fourth Koco, and once again is being transported to the past, facing the fourth and final Ancient, who was the leader of the pilots and controlled the strongest titan that she has yet to encounter and beat.)
Sophie: well, I suppose there really IS a fourth surprise titan after all. in the vision I saw, you died when you sealed the enemy inside your titan. so how are you here?
Ancient: that's not important. you wish to do as I did? stand before it's unthinkable might and save this world?
Sophie: of course! as the Hero of Justice, saving this world from anything that threatens it and everyone that lives in it is my duty!
Ancient: then prove it. show me what you are made of.
(Sophie was immediately transported to the Crane's Trial, facing the Koco before her.)
Koco: On your Mark! Start!
''NINJA''
Sophie: WHAT?! Are you for real?! Okay! lets see it through then!
(in this fourth trial, Sophie fought the Ninja mech with her sword, and her water elemental abilities, the Deep Aqua Rush and the Hydro Blast ability that she acquired during this journey, eventually defeating the Ninja in a matter of a short period of time, finishing her fourth trial. then she comes back to face the Ancients' leader of the pilots.)
Ancient: Bravo. you are every bit of the the hero I hoped you would be. my people thought the same of me. they looked to me for hope and inspiration. I...wasn't enough. you freed my friends from their Titan shells and for that, you have my deepest thanks.
Sophie: yeah. I may have freed your friends from their imprisonment within their titans, but...in exchange I freed the enemy that you all fought so hard to destroy.
Ancient: that I cannot deny. I, however, was lost. what you see now is the memory of me before we flew into battle. I always wondered how things ended. now I know. Take my blessing, and with it, my thanks and my hopes. you are this world's hero now.
(and so, Sophie returned to the present, overlooking the ocean with newfound strength and determination, then, Sage appears before her.)
Sage: how are you feeling?
Sophie: well, Sage, I can say that it worked! I feel every bit of my resolve was renewed!
Sage: Excellent! now we must go to the one who can forge that energy into a new power!
(Sophie nods and follows Sage)
(later on, on their way to the one who can convert the Ancients' blessings Sophie received into power, they went to another area full of ruins hanging by the cliffsides.)
Sophie: well, we've got sattelite maps today, but I don't think they can compete with direct brain downloads. I know that all this is alien tech, but the thing I don't understand is why are there no records of their settlements when everything else is so detailed?
Sage: the Ancients had a difficult time adapting to this world. adjusting to the new flora and fauna, dealing with technological incompatibilities...their settlements were under constant revision. the map was designed for a universal knowledge of the islands and their facilities.
Sophie: I suppose that makes sense. plus, its a good idea to limit the info to make sure whoever can access it can be trusted first. you know, like when people surf the internet in this time and era, sometimes being unaware of harmful info they can stumble upon.
Sage: (nods in agreement)
(they were now in an area full of Kocos that surrounded them.)
Sophie: Say, if I understand those visions correctly, the Ancients came from outer space, right? and they had these things inside their chests, looking like Kocos. but they didn't seem...Alive. do you know what the Koco really are?
Sage: they originated as lucky charms, amulets, for the ancients. they were never designed to contain their data nor their wills.
Sophie: yeah, but the Koco Sonic and I found do hold the memories of their owners. maybe the Koco kept their memories alive after the Ancients were destroyed.
''RHEA ISLAND''
(Meanwhile, Bendy, who was in his magical toon form, flew around the surroundings of Rhea Island, and then, along the way encounters a ghost totem. much to his curiosity, the little demon interacted with the totem, then gets startled a bit when he sees another guardian appearing.)
''GHOST''
(Bendy tilts his head, as it seems harmless, but after a few seconds, it'll activate the Ghost totem and link itself to it. When it's connected to the totem, Bendy will start to feel weakened, meaning he has to defeat it quickly.Bendy won't be able to attack the Ghost with melee strikes or other standard measures. Instead, he has to focus on the Ghost totem. the little toon imp heads over to the totem and slashes at it with his scythe. It'll blow up, hurting the Ghost. It will then move towards a new Ghost totem. Bendy Follows it, finding the next totem and destroy it with his scythe. The trick to tracking down a totem is to follow the pink strand emerging from the top of the Ghost's head. It'll link to the totem it's connected to, allowing the demonic reaper to easily find and destroy it. Once all the totems are destroyed, the Ghost will perish, providing Bendy with a portal gear.
he goes to pick it up, and then looks over to a far off Cyber portal. he flies there with his demon wings, reaching the portal, inserting the key and enters Cyber Space.
when he enters Cyber Space, the environment around him resembles parts of the Cycle in Joey Drew Studios. the surroundings were dark and sepia toned color, and he moved on ahead, slashing at several Lost Ones and deformed Butcher Gang clones present, as well as using his Melanokinesis to push through until he reaches the end goal, exiting Cyber Space. Bendy takes a few deep breaths, to calm himself to avoid having another panic attack due to the decades' long trauma that was still there in his heart. looking at the vault key he got, and then noticing a white beam of light in the distance, he knew that the seal of the vault was broken.
he heads to the vault of the white chaos emerald, at the center of Kronos Island. he unlocks the vault with the key, and takes the white Chaos emerald in his hands.)
Bendy: (looks at the emerald) I wonder how Sophie and the others are doing right now. and I've got a bad feeling in my gut...I can't explain it, but, its something related to what happened to Sonic back there. and I don't like it one bit. (looks up at the sky, seeing the presence of The Ancients' Enemy, eyes widen in shock when it manifests itself as a purple celestial body that is a bit larger than the moon itself, then feels sharp burning pain as dark crimson aura began to engulf him.) AGH! Ghg! Ngh! wha-?! (looks at his trembling hands, fear creeping into his heart) wh-what is this...?!
(Back to Sophie and Sage, elsewhere on Ouranos Island...)
Sophie: Say, You were created by Eggman, right?
Sage: correct. my base code was compiled by him. the scope of my capabilities was vastly modified once I integrated with Cyber Space, but he is my creator.
Sophie: Hehe! Good Lord! I bet he never expected his genius A.I advise him to work with me. X3
Sage: I put forward this scenario with the highest likelihood for survival. that is all.
(the two continue forward across the island, when suddenly, they encounter another guardian...)
'' RED PILLAR ''
Sophie: Oh joy, its one of those guys again... -.-
(At first, the Red Pillar attacks by firing a barrage of spikes at Sophie. From previous encounters with this kind of guardians, These spikes do not explode upon impact, so she can avoid them easier while running. While it attacks, Sophie must destroy as much as she can of its cylindrical segments so that they can reach its weak spot, the head. her preferred move is the Meteor Dash, as it can destroy a large number of segments and can avoid the Red Pillar's spike projectiles. Then, the Lythian can follow up with close combat for further segments removal, After some of its segments are removed, it performs a stomp attack onto the ground that fills the surrounding area with spikes. Sophie jumps up, her fists and feet radiating with bright purple aura and punches and kicks the head several times, laying heavy damage onto it, until it blows up into pieces, leaving behind a Cyber gear for her to take.
Sophie took the gear, then looks around to find Sage, who was nowhere to be seen. she shrugs and goes to a nearby Cyber Portal. she inserts the key, and enters Cyber Space.
this time, it resembles the Eternal Highway during nighttime. she ran across the highway, encountering loops, propeller springs, chains and fans. at times the road splits, and Sophie has to fly in order to avoid falling, attacking enemies with her punches, kicks and using her Cyclone Rotation to blow them all away. eventually, she manages to clear the stage and exit Cyber Space with two vault keys.)
(the blue angel sees a cyan colored beam, indicating that the seal on the vault was broken. she sprouts her angel wings and flies to the south section of Ouranos Island, finding the emerald vault. she inserts the key, unlocking the vault and takes the Cyan Chaos Emerald. that's when Sage appears in front of her.)
Sophie: Oh! there you are, Sage! I was wondering where you went off!
Sage: I apologize, but there were personal matters I had to attend to regarding the doctor.
Sophie: (looks at the Cyan emerald in her hand) You know, I'm so used to harnessing the power of the Chaos Emeralds, that its quite hard to believe they came from space.
Sage: the Chaos Emeralds were the source of power of the Ancients, and native to their world. they are the only things that can awaken all functions on the island, and were taken away with the last survivors to another land.
Sophie: Angel Island...
Sage: correct. and without the emeralds' power, Starfall Islands' functions eventually shut down. that is why I drew them here. I hoped to use the Ancients' technology to stop the emergence of their old foe.
Sophie: in other words, from all the memories I've seen with Sonic and the others, the Ancients are the ancestors of Chaos and the Chao, and the original owners of the Chaos Emeralds.
(Sophie looks at the emerald, and then up at the night sky that had her eyes widen in shock.)
Sophie: Ummm....Sage? is it just me or am I seeing two moons hanging over the night sky? O.O
Sage: your eyes do not deceive you. that large purple moon you see up there is the Great Destroyer. the one responsible for the genocide of the ancients, now once again posing a threat to this world.
Sophie: since you said it destroyed home huge amounts of other planets, stars, and worlds. I bet its power is just as highly destructive as Unicron's. O.O
Sage: it has been secluded in Cyber Space, which had waited for countless millennia to be freed in order to use all of its power, and continue the destruction of everything that exists in the known universe. though it still has a fraction of its power, it had major influence over the happenings in the outside world.
Sophie: w-what? what do you mean by that?
Sage: What I mean is that it's actions against the Ancients led to the arrival of the Chaos Emeralds here on Planet Earth and, as a result, was the root cause of every problem caused by their existence.
Sophie: I...I can't believe this.
Sage: (looks up at the purple moon) there is not much time left. we must hurry.
(back to Tails, Knuckles and Amy, they look up to the sky, seeing the form the enemy took.)
Tails: that thing in the sky... it's corrupting everything everywhere on these islands! Even the Koco!
Knuckles: I won't stand for it!
Amy: Guys. focus. Knuckles needs to weaken that thing's hold on the Emeralds! and Tails needs to break them free! I'll handle the Koco! I have a feeling they'll be crucial to the plan!
(Tails and Knuckles run off, as Amy looks up to the enemy)
Amy: You will NOT Harm this world! I won't allow it!
(Amy then runs to see a few crying Kocos, whimpering in fear as the pink hedgehog went to console them.)
Amy: Shh-shh... it's alright. it'll be alright. I'm going to take you somewhere safe. this way, little ones. I've got you.
(she then gathers as many as Kocos possible to two Elder Kocos to proceed with the plan to take down the enemy. she searches around Ouranos Island, not too far from where Sophie is currently, gathering the Kocos to their elders, being successful in doing her part despite being heavily worried for Sonic and his current whereabouts.)
Knuckles: (Telepathically) Thanks for handling things, Amy. I'll take it from here.
(just before Amy continues running, She felt sharp pain all over her body, and grunts in pain as she sees the dark crimson aura around her. in that moment she realizes that she began to suffer from the Cyber Corruption.)
Amy: This...this is what Sonic and Sophie were suffering from... handling the Koco is affecting me the same way! (she was close to crying, as tears appeared in her eyes, then regained whatever strength she still has despite the Cyber Corruption, as a few tears fell off) well, too bad! they need me! I won't give up!
(meanwhile with Tails and Knuckles)
Knuckles: Hey, Kid. focus. we aren't done yet.
Tails: I know. I'm sorry. its just...this is my big moment to prove myself, but I don't think I can do it!
Knuckles: then ask for help. heck, even Sophie asked us to pick up her slack this time, not to mention we don't know where Sonic has gone to at a time like this. what do you need me to do?
Tails: (silent, then speaking) I think our enemy has repurposed the constructs to bolster the distortion's defensive measures. in other words, keep smashing things, and I can gain access to Cyber Space again.
Knuckles: I like the direct approach. you can count on me!
(Tails exited as Knuckles continues on his way through Ouranos Island, gliding in the air, searching and destroying the first Impact Forms with his fists)
Amy: (Telepathically) I'll look after the Koco! you just focus on helping Tails!
Tails: (Telepathically) Look for more of the corrupted constructs! hurry!
(and thats exactly what the guardian of the Master Emerald did. he went up high in the air, gliding on rails, pulling out his shovel claws to climb on metal platforms and destroy the second impact form with his punches.)
Knuckles: Amy, are you alright? you don't sound so good!
Amy: (telepathically) I...I'm fine. keep doing your thing.
Tails: (telepathically) It's working! just a few more and I can hack my way in!
(as Knuckles glided through the air, and lands on the ground, panting in exhaustion then sees his hands being engulfed in Cyber corruption. he begins laughing before collapsing on his back, looking up at the large purple moon.)
Knuckles: Oh, no you don't! Sonic and Sophie handled four islands of this mess! (slams fist on ground) I'm not going down to just one! (raises fist to the air, facing the purple moon) you hear that? this isn't over until we win! (slowly gets back up on his feet) hey, Tails! I think that thing is trying to create more defense thingies. I'll keep hunting them down. you continue looking for the remaining Chaos Emeralds.
Amy: don't stop now, Tails! we're counting on you!
Knuckles: we've cleared the way for you, kid! finish it!
Tails: Right!
(Tails flies off to look for the remaining Koco devices, wherever they may be hidden. as he flew, he clears a pathway, opening a door containing a Koco device, which Tails reactivates.)
Tails: Darn! that weakened it, but it's still holding onto the emerald!
(he flies as high as possible, finding the second Koco device and reactivates it to undo the enemy's hold on it.)
Tails: Arghh! so close! one more should do it!
(and so, Tails flew over the hills and ruins, flying even higher than ever before, and reaches the last Koco device right near the vault containing the Yellow Chaos Emerald. but just before he could do so, his hands began to be covered with the Cyber corruption.)
Tails: Oh No! Every time I interact with Cyber Space, I'm getting more corrupted! this...this is what Sonic and Sophie were dealing with the whole time. I realized they were sick, but I never knew it was like this. if I'm going to be by my brother and sister's side, then I need to keep at their pace! I won't let this stop me!
(and with that, Tails opens the vault and takes the Yellow Chaos Emerald in his hands. then, he gasped when he heard the eerie voice of the enemy, looking up at the large purple moon above.)
Tails: You never stood a chance against Sonic and Sophie! now you're up against all six of us! you should've quit while you were still trapped!
(soon, Sophie and Sage explored the island further, when suddenly, they see a colossal mechanical titan that seemingly remains still. Sage quickly motions to Sophie to hide in order to avoid being spotted by it.)
Sophie: I knew there was another titan here. just how many of them are there?
Sage: this is the last one. the model of the final, most powerful of the titans.
Sophie: it really is the last one, right?
Sage: yes. there is no doubt that only four were built. at least...my current calculations say so.
Sophie: Ooookay....then lets get going. we're running out of time here. O.O
(And so, with Sage following Sophie, going to another area within the island, that is full of ancient ruins of alien technology.)
Sophie: so many ruins here...
Sage: the Ancients came down to this planet, settled it, and made it their home. this place in particular was built for prayer and meditation. they hoped for a peaceful life. when they realized that the All Consuming Void was after them, they prepared to defend the planet. Walls, Turrets, Towers... All of them, Do-or-Die last stands.
Sophie: So everything I've seen so far... they were preparing to fight whatever it was that destroyed their civilization. I finally get it now.
Sage: these coordinates were also a meeting place for the Ancients to gather during battle. that's why they recorded everything. their History, Ambitions, Hopes, Dreams...it all still remains.
Sophie: we've come a long way, haven't we, Sage? -w-
Sage: O.O Yes. we have. UwU
(soon, the two continue on through a grassy field, on the way to the Gate of the Ancients, where suddenly, they encounter another Guardian...)
''MASTER NINJA ''
Sophie: what the...!? another Ninja robot?!
Sage: be careful! This is the most difficult variant of the Ninja, Shinobi and Kunoichi guardians. Not only does it wield the doppelganger ability and the high melee damage of the Kunoichi, but it also has an array of new moves.
Sophie: Thanks for noting me! (pulls out the Celestial Sword, raises it high in the air and shouts) FOR THE GLORY OF THE CELESTIALS!
(in a bright flash of light, Sophie briefly transforms to her Knight form, doing a battle stance with the Celestial Sword. the guardian begins the battle generally by dashing quickly towards Sophie on the grass field. unlike Ninja and Shinobi though, Master Ninja can reach Sophie from very long range by charging its power for a second before flying along the ground at high speed in attempt to perform one of its attacks involving blade arms, which Sophie clashes weapons with. The guardian either tries to do uppercut strike with one of its blade arms or make rapid, wide range swings when attempting to attack sideways or behind it. Much like other Ninja and Shinobi, Master Ninja can block chain combo attacks quickly and is very durable compared to previous two cases. During a close combat, Master Ninja itself can found teleporting further from Sophie's's way to appear a couple of meters back away in attempt to fire an energy beam that she should avoid quickly by evading it. Sophie strikes at the guardian multiple times with her sword, delivering heavy damage.
Once the it has taken enough damage, Master Ninja will teleport further away to be found levitating in one place and creating four duplicates of itself alongside. Each clone will start dashing towards Sophie at high speed, as she has to use her sword to take down each clone. If she misses one, then each clone then begins to fire a laser beam from its red eye while doing a mid-air flip before disappearing from the battle. Sophie had a difficult time finding the real guardian, but with Sage's guidance, Master Ninja was easily identified among the clones it created. Occasionally, Master Ninja will also multiply a clone of itself during a close combat, that will try to strike with its blade arms at her. eventually, Sophie gained the upper hand, and used the Celestial Sword Blaster to deliver the finishing blow.
Once Master Ninja has fallen by the sword of the angelic knight, it evaporates into thin air much like other guardians.)
(after the guardian was defeated, Sophie and Sage continue forward towards the fifth and final tower, ascending upwards through the clouds. then, a mysterious voice was heard.)
???: Enter, young ones.
(everything flashed white as they are transported once again to the past, and face an elderly Koco, with a mysterious ancient behind him.)
Sage: who are you?
???: You may call me ''Master King''. it is as close as your limited language will manage.
Sophie: Sage here says that you're the one who can turn the Cyber corruption into power, right?
Master King: yes, she is correct. although I must say, I loath to acknowledge her for being an invader of our home. but I must if I am to preserve my legacy.
Sage: ...
Master King: I was the leader of my people. I led them away from their doom and oversaw the colonization of this planet. I directed the installation of Cyber Space. I ordered the construction of the Titans. and I also forged a sword to a hero who is worthy to wield its power. I have been the guiding voice of my people for longer than you can imagine.
Sophie: I see... listen, Master King, we're really short on time here, so if you want me to save your legacy, you better be able to start the process of the new power.
Master King: you remind me so much of another...he vexed me as much as you do. he and his friends gave everything to stave off the Destroyer of All Things. very well... I shall direct you to the location of the finest sword that was ever created.
(the Master King transports Sophie and Sage back to the present time to another place. they were among the mountains in Ouranos Island there is a large floating piece of land, with a glowing blue light under the bright full moon.)

Sophie: Woah... O.O What is this place?
Sage: hidden among these mountains, the ancients left behind a weapon, their final creation, that would serve as a primary key in destroying the enemy.
Sophie: a weapon, huh? Master King said that this weapon is a sword. lets go see what that is.
(Sophie sprouts her angel wings, with Sage following her, to the floating piece of land that is covered in vines and ruins. Sophie looks around the landscape that surrounded this piece of land. there, beneath the full moon, it shimmered in its rocky pedestal...the sword of the ancients.)

Sage: that is the weapon that was created by the Ancients. the sword that destroys evil. whoever finds it and pulls it out of its pedestal, can fulfill the Ancients' final wish: to protect this planet and its inhabitants from threat as great as the one that destroyed them.
Sophie: well, considering this is the THIRD time in my life that I'm gonna pull out a legendary sword to defeat a much greater evil... I might as well be the first one to wield it. -w-
Sage: but you must take extreme caution with this decision. that sword is considered a test to anyone who dares to pull it out and possess it.
Sophie: hey. I'm in possession of a second powerful sword, 'cause the first one I had broke during the final battle against Dark Gaia a few years ago.
(Sage looks at Sophie with worry in her eyes)
Sophie: don't worry. I'll be fine. I'll get through this... (turns to the sword) okay... (inhales, exhales) here we go.
(Sophie grabs the sword's hilt, and pulls at it with all her might. grunting, with her eyes closed tight, as the Cyber Corruption manifests itself again from within her body. a few more seconds, she manages to pull the sword out of its pedestal, as it released a shining beam of light onto the sky night, as well as have Sophie glow in bright bluish colored aura instead of red, feeling the sword's incredible power surging through her body, catching the All Consuming Void's Attention, speaking in its distorted male voice.)

Sophie: Sage? are you okay?
Sage: I... I have been thinking...pondering over everything...
Sophie: ??
Sage: (looks at Sophie) I never really understood the idea of having things like a family, feeling genuine emotions like love or sadness, or even the idea that father would actually grow to love me like a real daughter... And you and that blue hedgehog...you keep on fighting...you keep helping...you keep running...you keep flying... Even after everything you've witnessed and endured, you'd rather risk your life to the cyber-corruption rather than giving up and running away. why? what is the reason you continue to fight?
Sophie: ... O.O
Sophie: (silent for a moment, deep in thought, then speaks) when I was a kid, I always wanted to be a hero. things were scary, but protecting the innocents makes enduring these things worth it. but when I grew and certain circumstances came along and were really hard for me to deal with, I actually wanted to give up everything. because I felt weak, frail and small compared to the adversaries I went through... believe me, Sage, throughout my life I've been through hell and back more times than I can count... even this time around. (turns away from Sage, sadly) truth is, I may be the Hero people need me to be in times like these, but...I'm not invincible. I just need time to adjust and learn to take things as they come...
Sage: Sophie... (holds her hands, as the AI turns blue, with a sympathetic smile on her face) you fought Titans that are so much larger than you...and the Koco...no, the Ancients... you saw their lives. you saw their pain. you saw their demise. And yet, you kept following your hearts, even making peace with those you are at odds with. Those close to you have eternal respect and unwavering faith in you. Their emotions and experience serve as your data. I never expected people, a brother and a sister, who are my father's obstacles...to be outstanding beacons of light. you never stop believing...and you never give up on living...
Sophie: Sage... you may be Eggman's creation...but I'm really happy to have you as a friend. I really am.
Sage: me? a friend? O.O
Sophie: that's right! we may had an awful start, and I'm sorry for not listening to you earlier. but we've come so far that I now consider you as a friend!
Sage: Sophie... (smiles a sad warm smile) your honesty and your words mean a lot to me. I'm happy that you've shared with me more data about yourself. and also...that I was able to become your friend. I don't know what I have done to earn your frienship.
Sophie: well, its only natural, considering you are helping me make things right, so...I want to say, thank you.
(the two hug each other, with smiles on their faces.)
Sage: of course. shall we head back?
Sophie: yeah. we can't keep Master King waiting for long.
(with Sophie claiming the Sword of the Ancients, she and Sage are transported back to the Master King's domain. with the sword in her hands, this ancient that created it looks at her proudly.)
Master King: Well done, young hero. you have successfully gained the new power to control the corruption despite the difficult odds you faced pulling out the sword. however, it was not meant for you, it has been synchronized into your being as best as it can. therefore, if you use it recklessly, the power will corrupt you and destroy you from within if not careful.
Sophie: hey. when it comes to having dangerous powers, I always know how much to use in certain situations. -w-
Master King: the enemy's approach is nigh. go now, you have been given all we can give you. I...can do nothing more for my people. I entrust the rest to you.
(Sophie and Sage look at each other and nod, knowing it was time, and they were transported back to the present time. the sun has set over the islands.)
Sophie: So, uh...are you okay with hanging around with me? I thought you were supposed to be looking after Eggman.
Sage: I will be at his side when he needs me. for now, we must focus on the task at hand.
Sophie: you said earlier that Sonic and I had zero chances of winning. did you like...change your mind about that or something?
Sage: No. But...I have not run a simulation on our present circumstances either.
Sophie: oh. so you're saying that there maybe IS a chance?
Sage: I am saying that we are in a desperate situation. that threat we face is beyond imagination.
Sophie: hey. if there's even a one percent chance we can come out of this alive, you won't be disappointed.
(Sage smiles a little at Sophie's resolve, watching her go as she crosses the path forward. she continues forward ahead, that's when she hears her name being called...)
'' SOPHIE! ''
(Who to enter but Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Bendy, who were waiting for her, and in their hands were the five Chaos Emeralds.)
Sophie: alright! you guys found the other four emeralds! OwO
Knuckles: how are things on your end?
Sophie: so far, I found only one. which means one more remains! (gasps, as they see their condition due to the Cyber Corruption, shock and worry overtook her) guys? what happened to you?!
Sage: (sadly) unfortunately your friends have been affected by the Cyber Corruption. they are not handling it so well.
Bendy: D-Don't worry about us, Sophie! we will be fine!
Sophie: Bendy... you all went through so much for me. you're all the best.
(then, they see Eggman flying on the Eggmobile approaching the group. Eggman briefly glances at Sage.)
Eggman: then what does that make me, hmm?
Eggman: (to Sophie) things got a bit more complicated than expected, so, I found it for you. (pulls out the purple chaos emerald and throws it to Sophie, who grabs it.)
Sophie: Eggman. O.O
Eggman: Now don't you dare lose it!
Sophie: I won't let you guys down!
(Amy, Tails, Knuckles and Bendy give Sophie the other Emeralds, and she jumps high in the air, initiating her transformation into Angel Super Sophie. she looks up and sees a bright red beam of light heading to her direction. Angel Super Sophie gasps and deflects the beam with the Sword of the Ancients, sending it flying over to a nearby mountain, causing a huge explosion.)
Knuckles: what in the world was that just now?
Tails: is it one of the Titans?
Sage: (in horror) No...its not a titan.
Eggman: (Also looks up, seeing whatever it was that attacked them.) WHAT THE...?!
Angel Super Sophie: ?!! OoO
(Amy, Knuckles, Tails, and Bendy were also shocked to see at who they were seeing.)
(lo and behold, there was Sonic, completely covered in red glitchy fur, looking like he was in his super form...but a corrupted version of it, similar to his dark form.)
