She's almost like me, an optimist but also very sensitive. I do enjoy the dark, but I hate walking in the dark because I worry I might get hurt.

I have no problem with darkness in general but I Freak out easily if by any chance something jumpscares me outta nowhere

Yeah, me, too. One time it was dark and my cousin was still living with us, she jumped me as I was get ready for breakfast before school. It was dark since daylight savings time was still over at the time. Since then, I have images that scare me sometimes.
