I wonder if this will stop people's complaints... Nah, probably not.Before you guys say anything, no I'm not a fan nor a hater of AkaiDalia. I did this because people always complain about her character.
This was something I actually had to think about, getting involved in the Akai business. I have done my research on her and even spoke to her. I wanted to talk to her about some of the events that have happened to her so she can understand but she hasn't reply to me back about it. So my opinion on her, shes alright I guess.
PLEASE PEOPLE. Don't post any hate comments about her, because I really don't want to deal with that right now.

EDIT: There was a bunch of info that I didn't put her. I didn't link it to her, because I don't want a reply like the last person who did so. I'm planning on redesign her in the future and I'm going to use her as my own version of her character.

I know this is old, but if I had known this was around and could give pointers I'd say...
1) Make her eyes conjoined like the Sonic hedgehogs are. One of the things that bugged me about Akai/Jane's design was that her eyes were separated. it could be chalked up to artistic expression but if you look at how she draws hedgehogs, she makes the guys have conjoined eyes but the females' (even how she drew Amy) eyes separate. It doesn't make her look like a hedgehog. Nowadays she looks like a cat of sorts.
2) While the outfit has potential, but I'd have to agree with Cat, it does make her look like a woman of easy virtue. Perhaps if you cover her mid-drift by making the shirttail a bit longer and make her skirt longer or give her leggings, it would look promising.
But that's just my thoughts on the matter, idk if they or you have any use for it, but these were suggestions you can take or leave. Either way, she looks interesting. Knowing CP she'll pass her off as an "evil twin" but whatever floats her boat I say.

I Get what you are trying to do, but frankly I don't see this design as conveying any positive messages to viewers. In all honest this design makes the character look more like a Prostitute or a Biker Chick.
The issue people have with the Character is the fact that she is nothing more than an oversexualized Sex Toy with no sense of morals.
I do think you have a nice drawing style, but in all honesty to me this is Not an improvement of the character.

Okay, I may improve her a bit more in the future, this is either my second or third redesign of a character which explains why it isn't really good. It's also kinda hard to fix up a character who has a bad reputation.

I know the feeling I did a redesign myself of the character, went more with the Vampire Hunter approach. Dressed her in a more ninja suit that didn't emphasize her sexual parts.
