I don't know if it's happening here, but I like the idea of someone fighting against a slim monster as they are being fattened up by it. Like some warrior princess growing out of her armour as she slashed at the slime.

I didn't know she could absorb her victims, cause she didn't do it to any of the others.

Well just think of the past events as her absorbing some lifeforce in her victims stomachs and eventually leaving. Like a parasite almost. But every once in a couple of months, she'll need to take the whole package, lifeforce and the body to keep the thickness and taste of her slime top notch. The chubbier the victim, the longer she'll last.
