Iguana iguana, also known as the green or common iguana. Awesome creatures.This guy has been chomping on some cactus, you can still see a cactus spine hanging from his face! Thats what I call tough.

lol. Actually, I had to crawl at a snails pace through thorny bushes to get close enough because I didn't have my telelens. There are many other iguanas that are easier to photograph, but they are always in some semi-urban setting. I wanted a WILD one.

This is a very nice shot. I love iguanas, that's a big one!.. I used to have one in my bedroom and one day it escaped and I found her about a month later lol and the poor creature was so skinny...
