Alright, I can't get this out of my head, so I had to draw this. These are doodles of Shadow the Hedgehog involved in The Nutcracker story. Sonic is The Nutcracker obviously, Rouge is the Mouse Queen, and Knuckles is one of the mice guards. This is dumb, I know. But I can't help myself. This story also takes place in my Sonadow AU which I'll draw more of later on.

The Super Sonic doodle takes place during the final battle. I haven't gotten the story all the way through yet, but I do have an idea for the final battle, and how Sonic (The Nutcracker) will turn into Super Sonic. Basically what happened is that during the confrontation between the Mouse Queen and Shadow, Shadow let off a Chaos Blast. It barely knocked out the Queen, but little did Shadow know, he noticed an unconscious body laying next to him. It was The Nutcracker! Apparently what happened before this was that Shadow and Sonic had an argument, Sonic is obviously worried about his "Prince," while Shadow just told him to back off, and stop calling him "Prince." Sonic doesn't know that Shadow has Chaos Powers, (Except the Queen) and he refuses to let him battle the Queen, but Shadow pushes him away and d ran off without saying another word, not even apologizing. Then during the final stretch, he let out a Chaos Blast, and almost knocked out the Queen, but completely knocked out Sonic, because while Shadow as charging up, Sonic was running into battle, not wanting Shadow to hurt himself, but it was too late. The Chaos Blast was strong enough to knock Sonic out cold, leaving him on the ground, not moving a muscle.

As Shadow noticed this, he became distraught. He hugged Sonic, begging him to come back. (Sure he called him an idiot while bawling his eyes out, but hey, it's Shadow, and it's Sonadow.) While all that's happening, Sonic suddenly started glowing, and started floating in the air, while Shadow was holding him. They were both floating as Sonic's transformation became fully complete. Super Sonic turned to the Queen and said: "I'll take car of her. You stay behind me." "NO!" Shadow yelled, catching The Nutcracker's attention. "You can't do this! You're already got yourself hurt because of me." "I'd rather save your life than mine. That's how much I love you." Sonic replied. Shadow stared into Sonic's burning red eyes. "It wasn't your fault that you hurt me, besides I've been hit harder. But seriously, though. I want you to be safe. Do you want to be safe, or do you wanna hurt yourself for life?" Sonic was hoping for a right response from Shadow, but instead he got a small kiss from him and his smile. "I think the answer's pretty obvious..." Shadow let go of Sonic and floated back down to the ground. "Good luck... Sonic." Shadow said before running off. "Thanks... Shadow." The hedgehog said before flying into battle.

One of the other doodles was after the whole Nutcracker story, where Shadow awoke to the sound of the door opening. Sonic came home after a midnight run. Shadow quickly got up and told him everything. Sonic was very confused on what Shadow is trying to say. Nutcracker soldiers? Mice? Sugar Plum Fairies?! Poor Sonic was VERY confused. Fun fact! Sonic's Nutcracker look was inspired from NannelFlannel, a really cool Sonic artist, and Final Fantasy artist I believe? Go check out NannelFlannel, she is awesome.
