This is my entry for the " IR Post Processing Contest May 2016" held by the infrared photography group r72
The original (rather wonderful) photo was taken by mIkeschwaRz , and volunteered for editing in this competition.

The image is of Lichtenstein Castle , a Gothic Revival castle built in the 1840s. It is situated on a cliff located near Honau on the Swabian Alb, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

This is my favorite castle. I grew up living just a few towns away in Albstadt. Your photos are so unique and entrancing. I agree with russellcattle, this photo looks more like a painting than a photograph.

I think this is about as close as possible real life can come, with the aid of a camera, to an El Greco painting.
