I actually played the games first, and I watched the movie afterward. It was very interesting, original, philosophical ideas and all, but it was a bit too long. I didn't mind that, but it seems most people did.

Kiedyś to się nazywało bodajże Łódź Karolew, widziałem kiedyś na jakiejś starej mapie Łodzi, było nawet zaznaczone jako oddzielna stacja.

To chyba jednak nie może być to - moje zdjęcia były robione tuż przy peronach pasażerskich Łodzi Kaliskiej, z nasypu po przeciwnej stronie ulicy. Właściwy peron zaczyna się kilkanaście zaledwie metrów dalej.

Na Twoim zdjęciu jest widok na Kaliską Towarową od strony tego wiaduktu, na którym nigdy nie położono torów, bo widzę daleko w tle wieżę wodną i bardzo pordzewiałe szyny (na zdjęciu 135). Moje zdjęcia to wynik łażenia po krzakach

It has a very scary feel for me - like one of the images from WW2 concentration camps! I think it is the overgrown-nes, the stark contrast, and those very ominous things hanging down.

Silver-Guild's journal has your nice picture. i love the stark black and whiteness of it. makes you feel like someone is going to step out and appear on the tracks!and the crisscross that starts at the beginning of the photo a nice touch, its like hinting that the journey starts here, so it has a dash of adventure hinting at the corner.
