There were never any truly clear images of this thing. Not in any art books of the game anyway. Which was a shame since I thought it always looked pretty darn creepy and was such a huge plot point I thought it deserved one.This is probably a more sinister interpretation of the Mammon Machine than the creators had in mind. But I think it's overall weirdness is still in tact.
In this sketch I combined a few aspects from Crono Cross for plot purposes on a project I'm working on. The frozen flame is now "barely" visible in the "chest" area.

Did you also know that it happens to be named after "Mammon," the demon who represents the Sin of Greed? I find that a fitting name, since it greedily extracts energy from the dormant Lavos.
