Oh wow, this is beautiful work! Especially love all of the vibrant colors that you chose to work with. Reminds me more of the Dream Devourer than the Time Devourer though now that the DS version has been released. I never understood why she wasn't given blue hair in Chrono Cross, and it is never explained either. I think the way you depicted her as wearing the outfit and having the coloring from Chrono Trigger while having her hair down with her eyes closed the way she looks in Chrono Cross was an lovely compromise.

It's a character from Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross, by Squaresoft, now Square-Enix. I painted it in Photoshop. It's more of a static portrait than anything, but the big ugly is merging with the girl for power.

I can't stand what Chrono Cross did to Lavos - too tiny and not menacing at all! In my head, this is the Time Devourer just before Kid's creation.

I wondered whether I should make her hair blonde or blue. Then I thought about it, and realized that she gets eaten by Lavos, and doesn't age, ever, so why would her hair color fade? Duh!
