The cracks reveal the layers ... always remind me of the stories, as in an archaeological dig ... some things we want to forget, but they always find their ways.

Red and black are strong colors, sometimes they can be related to pain. White seems to trying soften (or hide) the strong colors.

Some allusions to the old wall with cracked paint. Supposedly a wall in a hospital room.
And there's can be negative feelings and fears about this subject (hospital), in past or in future.

Many of your works, when I see them in my stacks...the way you do them I think they are stock textures; that have that certain uniqueness to them. !   This one in particular makes me think of peeling paint on wood.  !
