It had been 3 days since Leo was brought home safely. To their shock, Leo was experimented on and had turned into a girl. Nevertheless, they brought her home, and Donnie promised to make an antidote that will turn her back to normal. Leo opened her eyes and starred at the ceiling. A lot of things had happened. The experiments, the torture....It flashed across her mind. Leo shook her head a bit to try to block the unpleasant memories from her mind. But for some reason, she could not sleep.
She started to walk around the lair. Just then, she heard soft sobs. She turned around and walked towards the direction of the sobs. She saw Donnie sleeping on his table again. "Donnie must have been working on the antidote for hours." She thought. She found a spare blanket that Donnie kept just in case and she put it onto Donnie. "Sleep well, little brother." She thought as she closed the lab door.

The sobs sounded closer as she headed towards the same direction. When she reached Mikey's room, the sobs got louder. When she opened the door softly, she saw something quaking under a pile of blankets. "Mikey?" She whispered. She went towards the bed and shook the figure gently. "Mikey, are you ok?" The figure stopped moving and peeked out from under the blankets. "Leo, is that you?" "Yes, Mikey." "Oh...." Leo noticed that Mikey's eyes were bloodshot red.

"Mikey, are you ok?" Leo asked gently. "Uh, I'm f-fine. Thanks for asking!" Mikey attempted a smile. "Mikey, don't lie to me. I heard you crying, Mikey. What's wrong?" "I...I just...." Mikey sniffled before admitting. "W-When you were kidnapped, Leo, I-I should've seen t-that fly taking you away from the r-rooftop. I could've helped a-and I could've stopped him. When we arrived, Leo, there were so many cuts and bruises. You were tortured, Leo! You could've died! I don't want any of you to die, Leo...." Mikey started to sob again.

"Oh, Mikey....." Leo hugged Mikey tightly. "Stop blaming yourself, Mikey. There was nothing you could've done. It's just dumb luck that Baxter Stockman managed to take advantage of the whole fight and capture me." Leo paused, rubbing Mikey's shell as she did so. "Besides, we won't leave you even if we die. Remember that." "But...." "Mikey, I am safe. All of us are safe. Don't worry, little brother." She kissed Mikey on the forehead. "I'm here." "Thanks, big bro....Or should I say big sis?" Leo smiled at his brother's humour. She pulled the blanket over her and Mikey. "Good night, Mikey." "Good night, Leo."

Even though Mikey was still a tad worried, but whenever he saw Leo, he knew one thing. His big sister was safe and away from the Shredder's clutches. He and his family will make sure that Leo remains safe and sound, no matter what.
