"Well, I don't know about you guys," came from Elena. "I thought Grewan was kind of cool." Tommy jumped up and took shelter with Aluka. He looked at Elena as stupidly as Kereno. Think an opponent is cool? Who wanted to kill you? Toivo's jaw dropped. "You think an archenemy is cool? The guy who tried to kill you yesterday?" "Uh... Yes?" Elena looked around, puzzled. "Don't ever say that out loud." just agreed Kereno and turned to leave. "Who put that lunatic on our team, why do we have to put up with her?" "Stay here!" thundered Toivo angrily. Kereno looked at him in wonder. "We're not here on recreational leave! We're in the army here, and nobody moves without an order from me!" growled the turquoise dragon. "Recruits! Line up in a single file! IMMEDIATELY!" he roared at his small squad, who did as they were told.
But this did not make Toivo more peaceful. Snorting, he paced back and forth in front of his recruits. "You are an uneducated, non-thinking bunch! You fly off without knowing where, you put yourselves and your comrades in danger by flying directly into the border area and you disobey the orders of your instructor. Do you absolutely want it to come to a battle? Do you want to die? You have no combat experience, you can't fight and you have no armor. You are a target for our enemies. They are just waiting to kill you and then throw you at the paws of our warriors in the next battle to intimidate them! "Look, we already killed your recruits, now it's your turn." This is not a game people, this is serious. It's either your life or theirs. Do you want to die so soon?" The recruits looked down in shame. Their instructor told them to come with him. Saddened, they followed him, by foot. "When are we flying home?" Aluka dared to ask. "Flying is a privilege that only dragons who show reasonable and responsible behavior have. Until you show me that you deserve to use your wings, you will walk." Tommy sighed, "It's going to be a long walk home."
