Basically, yes. The console version has 9 levels, while the 3DS version has 7. Remember, the 3DS version and the console version are not identical, even though they have the same name.

You do know that the 3DS version has 14 levels.

I think thats including both Acts 1 and 2. When I said level I really meant the setting of both of the acts. Like Casino Night Act 1 and Act 2 and Emerald Coast Act 1 and Act 2 for example.

Oh, now I see. I think you might be talking about the rivals/bosses. I suppose that makes sense, although normally I don't count boss parts as main stages.

Same here, I like the Classic Sonic but I actually think that Modern Sonic is more fun to play as, maybe cos I was born on the same year SA1 came out (1999). Missions are a good idea and are fun (Most of them), the music switch option is cool and I had lots of fun with it, and the actual stages are heaps of fun - even Planet Wisp. However, it's too short and after you beat it there's really no reason to ever play it again.

Sonic 4 episode 2 will be out online in May, then Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing 2 sometime. (Yes, a sequel to ASR was announced 
I really hope Sega does make Sonic Advneture 3, but they have to go 100% and attempt to make it the best Sonic game ever, even better than the classics. Well for now, we don't know what Sega will do with Sonic but that's life for him, running on without knowing what lies ahead, but it doesn't matter. He will always search for new great adventures.
