I just love how the whole picture is kind of moving. All the lines in the photo makes it look dramatic and alive. Very good. The feeling of this is incredible. Did you start a forest fire or something to do this? Anyhow was it worth it

Actually it was a clearing fire, in order to get rid of all the dead leaves and the like. I am no pyromaniac !

There was some hot gardening action going on yesterday, a fire was lit to clear all the brushwood and fallen leaves and weeds near our house (in Corsica that is, not Paris).
But that's actually too prosaic, let's just say that all the passion within me stirred up a firestorm in the forest. That's better.

As I have seen forest fires and what they can do, I also see what happens after the fire, and the new growth that comes from it.
This photo could suggest so much hope to look forward to, even after such devastation...
