My my,This was very hard to make in class when I had no pencil sharpener.
I HAVE DECIDED TO LEARN HOW TO DO BACKGROUND/ENVIRONMENTS/SCENERIES/YOU NAME IT!
It's something I just never really bothered learning and now I'm interested though I have no idea how or where to start. This turned out okay, I think.
It would help a lot if someone gave me a critique and told me what I need to work on :]

But still, I feel like it need more leaves.
But then again, when I feel like something should be there, most of the time it shouldn't... And I'm saying that to sound the least appropriate possible.
That last sentence is weird and it turns me off.

I do agree there should be more leaves to compliment the tree's fatness though...

this looks very good, the only thing i see for you to improve on is the sky. its shade is very close to that of the water's. If you made it a deeper purple this would be flawless in my eyes.
