I'd respect Ivory, but she's wasting her own time (and paragraphs) ranting about the latest anti-SonAmy devation, when she could be sticking around the SonAmy community. It's a shame, because she looked and acted like a genuine SonAmy fan at first glance.

It's these other SonAmy 'supporters' who can't get it through their thick skulls that nothing is respected by everyone. We don't support SonAmy, we're allowed to create anti-SonAmy deviations (as long as it doesn't harass the fans directly) as much as everybody else can create anti-Chris Thorndyke artwork.

That's the problem with diehard SonAmy supporters; manipulation. They always manipulate us into being the bullies when they're the ones harassing the anti-SonAmy users.
There's also the possibility that they're heavily influenced by Amy herself, particularly her Sonic X personality. They're whiny, hypocritical, ignorant, slow-minded, don't think things through, and play the victim card.

What further supports that 'theory' (more like the truth) is that the SonAmy supporters like X!Amy despite her abrasive personality. They'll hate any other character (Chris particularly) but let Amy off because she's their waifu and idol.
Another thing to note is that X!Amy is never called out for her actions, which means that she could get away with any misdeed and never get punished for it. This leads me to believe that these delusional fanbrats believe that they can talk shit about the anti-SonAmy community and never get called out for it, they can stomp on the community's artwork and believe they're doing the right thing.

The rabid side of the SonAmy community is, ironically, worse than the Sonic fandom itself. We've seen plenty of cringe-inducing 'fanart' depicting Sonic characters with barefeet or recolored Sonic fan characters, notorious Sonic fans that have taken a handful (Chris Chan, YoshiWii1, SammyClassicSonicFan, the latter of whom has improved), and terrible fanfictions that have little relation to what Sonic really is all about... but this 'community', these 'shippers', these lunatics, leave me stunned, and absolutely aggravated.
And about those people, let them talk shit to you. Because, deep down, they're weaker than you.

I know this is a very old comment but I just wanted to say this. Do not listen to either GD777 nor my old account. My old account does have flaws to it's arguments and was horrible at presenting them (While I still am; I'm gradually improving.). However, I can tell you that yes, I was correct on a few things. Emi was an already existent character before sonic.wikia.com/wiki/Sonic_the… even launched it's first episode. Not only was this Emi an existent character, but she was also Sonic's/Nikki's girlfriend as well as Amy's first prototype. Seems that SEGA liked her and the idea of her so much that they approved the manga + adopted Emi (Later Charmy the Bee, who also was present in the manga.). On top of that, only a year later, she premiered in a game (Sonic CD as Rosy). This is true and in no means 'Bulls@*t'. Any source can tell you that just by a quick google search of 'Emi 1992 Sonic manga.'

Also, Sally, going by her SatAM appearance and debut, did come 'after' Emi/Amy's. Like Amy, Sally wasn't technically created by SEGA themselves from my research. She wasn't canonized or added to the main games like Amy was either.

1: Amy came from a magma, where she was Sonic's girlfriend in 1992. Sega later APPROVED and ADOPTED Amy, launching her at the Sonic CD. She later was a cannoned character. Besides, that comic came before Sally's, dear.
2: Sally was made from DIC America. Not sega. she was approved, but not adopted. Therefore, she would be a spin off.
