i've started level 1 but all that's there at the moment are fruit trees. the main beef of level 1 is the underground areas below what you see here. i wanted them ready since i feel they will be needed later, but at the moment they aren't going to be in any of the art and i'm feeling my motivation drifting back to the story. i mainly just wanted to take a day off to clear my head between story events, so i'll come back to my maps later next time i need a break.

the main thing needed to be addressed before adding new characters was "where the heck will they live?" and that's why i needed to stop and get the map straight. one of the characters has an interesting home but i think it will be too cumbersome to track multiple "stables" so i think it's best they all come live at the same location, or at least most of them. there is one that will HAVE to live elsewhere so i'm not gonna introduce him until i know wtf to do with him, and whether or not i want to keep two stable journals. this project is starting to get so big that i may have to make a group to keep it all separated, but should the group be for just the farm so that other areas need their own groups, or for the whole project in general so all the different places are organized in their own folders? sldkfjsldfjsdf one thing at a time, one thing at a time
