Had a quick idea while watching someone play Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages.Veran, Sorceress of Shadows, decided to possess Link himself. However, since she usually possessed women, Link's body needed a few... alterations, so she could be comfortable. And this is the result.
Since I couldn't find a picture for the Noble Sword from the game, I used the White Sword.
Veran, Link, the White Sword, and the Oracle of Ages game, as well as the Legend of Zelda series, belong to Nintendo.

There's just so much that feels right about this

( I have not played this game nor seen footage of this game so please excuse any egregious errors on my part they were done in ignorance.)
With one last stroke of his sacred blade Link destroyed the wicked Fae's twisted form breaking the last of the magic that gave Veran her spider like form. However with the last of her strength Veran shifted to the almost human form, still she for all her magical might she could bring herself the power to even get off the ground. For a moment Link lowered his sword, but not his guard, she looked pitiful in this state, broken with the inhuman black ooze dripping out of her ruptured veins.
But Veran was far from helpless, and she was far from broken.
"How could it have come to this, i knew my liege wanted him dead so much but i never knew this mute youth had this much skill. I had thought his body useless, his frame alone not worth sharing the infinite power that would be at my lie... No at MINE command. This really has been the one thing i was wrong about if some his body is so powerful this uneducated peasant can beat my strongest frame than what can i could do with it. There will of course be some fragment of his mind left like those two girls but, i will have all the time in the world soon enough. Nothing he... Any one can due can take away my power too posses anyone, nothing."Β During her musings her facade of weakness never broke, and the boy did not move a single hair.
"Do you surrender?" Link said tentatively, "Or do you want to waste your life?" This however he said with the great volumes of steel he could muster.
"Finally he speaks," Veran thought to herself.
Veran dissipated with a wink to the lad, and as Link turned around to track where she was teleporting, something felt very very wrong. "You lost the first second you met me, whelp."
Suddenly Link's body exploded in pain along with his mind, howeverΒ unbeknowst too him Veran's mind as well was torn asunder as well. What made her ability to posses so powerful, was not only her own flexibility of form, but her ability to peer into the depths of her victem's mind, even places they couldn't know. Inside any normal man this would of completely broken them in an instant, inside a man who unbeknownst to himself commanded the gift of countless reincarnations and the favor of a gift over time, far stronger than Veran herself possessed this was far, far too much for her. But alas for Link as well who was ignorant of the power sealed, sealed for very good reason. For a moment both of their existences were sheer pain and then when it became hard for either of them too bear much less think consciousness ceased, and so did the world around them.

Dully consciousness came too and link found himself on some grass, he felt too tired too get up, and he had a splitting Headache and it felt like the muscles and supply of mana he built up were all burned away. However despite this one thought went through his head. "Veran, i have too stop Veran."Β However he then thought, "I can't lose now i came too far for this." "What,I, Who,I"Β Link slowly got off the ground, and then control of his body ceased and he hit the ground. Link's body slowly got up on it's own, however he noticed his hand was blue, too dumbstruck he couldn't think clearly as he heard a stream of a broke. As he walked towards it, link willed himself in control of what felt like a dream, Ungracefully his almost broken body fell too the ground with a crash. Getting up seeing that his hand was fine he came to the river for his parched lips. When he did another thought came too him,"No don't steal my body!" As he looked into the water Link saw his figure morph into the dark feminine figure of that of Veran and terror flowed through him. Just as it did Veran, when her body became that of link's against her will, losing control of her shape shifting never happened to her before. "No i will not become this monster, What happened to my magic, when did you become me, How,I." More out of pure shock than any thing else they both quieted down in thier head, until link thought four words. " Get out of me."Β However his steel was replaced with the same dread that filled Veran,"I...I can't."

Intertwined chap 1 Hatred
Quickly their mental argument was ingnited and they were able to flesh out a series of fact about the situation. First their minds and bodies were seemingly intertwined to the point that now that their head was clear they could not hide anything from each other, not the slightest thought or emotion, yet at the same time they frequently had thoughts or emotions that they weren't sure who thought or felt what. Secondly they could each gain control of their body at anytime, this usually left each them falling and them trying to shift back into what they looked like. However since they could switch at a moment's notice when they initially got into a fight they were writhing on the ground unable to do anything. Third their memories were screwed up, there were giant holes in what they remembered especially the further back they went, at some points they didn't know whose memories their were, but they remembered every time they met and they hated each other. Finally they had no possessions and had zero idea where they were, unless you counted Veran's ability to shape shift cloths a possessions which was the one thing Link was thankful for otherwise he/they would be naked.
They lost track of time since they woke up and now were just lying on the ground seething at each other, they had lot track whose was in control at the moment each of them knowing full well that at this point moving would be countered by the other. At this point a wordless battle raged at they mentally gritted teeth at the other until the other relinquished control. Being as stubborn as they were this lasted a while to say the least. At some point however a mighty rumbling escaped from their stomach as the physical needs of the body came up, so did an argument, it was all but the primal desire too not look mad that kept shouting from echoing through the forest.
βLet me take over, I can easily catch something and than cook it,βLink stated.
βHmph, and how are you going too purify the water to make it safe too drink, I don't want any tapeworms in my body.β
βThis is not your body, you attempted to take over my body.β
βHello, shape shifting beauty over here, besides, I take my own body into whoever I am possessing.β
Eventually they agreed that Veran would use some of the small amount of magic she had to gather water from the broke purify it, and let Link do the hunting and her to do the cooking.
When Veran performed what simple she could muster in this form, Link felt every bit of it the casting the energy welling up within he noted the horror from Veran at what little magic she had left, but what she had she weaved and commanded with great skill and precision. As quickly as she purified it, with boiling heat while simultaneously levitating it, she cooled it down too make it more refreshing, making it all the more refreshing as it pass his/her lips, and through their parched throat. Together the simple joy made the feel happy, but just as quickly they sheathed at bringing the other happiness. Link took back his body and began too explore the woods. It became quickly apparent that neither recognized these woods, the trees were different then any of the forests they remembered, the trees were of an unknown variety and while plant life swelled in abundance the forest was eerily lacking in animals of any variety. However it didn't lack in abundance of strange unknown fruits, naturally both of them were apprehensive about trying these strange plants, but eventually they gave into hunger and Link to his displeasure forced down the barely edible substance.
βIf nothing else we have that out of the way,β Varen responded.
βThere is one question I haven't gotten answered, why did you commit those atrocities.β
Veran and Link looked through their fragments in memory in vain but couldn't find anything.
βFunny, memory first thing to go after your decency,β Link lost control and ate dirt after that comment as Veran gave it back immediately clearly trying to spite the adolescent.
βFunny, for someone who talked so little you do have a smart mouth.β
The bickering continued as Link slowly crept further and further into the forest looking for a way out.

Well, there could be a dual-mind dynamic in there, who knows? Veran uses more magical arts and is a bit more reckless/villainous, while Link TRIES to keep things noble and heroic, using his sword.

Yes, I do recall that, but she was using Ralph's familiar appearance to get close enough to destroy the last Mystery Seeds. If she had altered him, her cover would have been blown.
