"When Cronos Number 1, Sephiria Arks, paired Creed Diskenth up with the newest Number candidate, Train Heartnet, the members of Cronos were not sure what to expect when these two were face to face.

Creed had a skill that rivaled the numbers, indeed with his blade -Kotetsu- he made a near demonic sparring partner that even left Sephiria on edge. However his instablity prevented him from being a suitible Number.

Train had quickly rose up in the ranks of Erasers at a mere 18* years old, his abilities to eleminate his tagets speaking for itself. Yet he had a prefrence to work alone as his former partners had been more of an hinderance than a help.

The possiblity that these two would clash was high, yet the pair surprised Number 1 when the two reported in from a mission well done, not a scratch on either one. It surprised her even more when Creed formally asked to be paired with Train in more assignments, while Train showed no protest or encouragement in this request.

In mere months the two had made a feared team. Indeed the mere mentioning of the names 'Black Cat' and 'Creed Diskenth' left many criminals and other undesirables fearing to look over their shoulder (more so when 'Black Cat' was mentioned however this seemed to fill the swordsman with far more glee than any resentment).

And as, Sephiria would later recall, it was their similarties that made them such excellent Partners...

...However, it was their choices that would one day turn them into bitter Enemies."

Whew that was a long one.
Hope you guys don't mind, I tried to combine a bit of the manga and anime for this little (or not so little intro). As for Train being 18 when he became a number... This is just my guess (as far as the manga goes anyway), so don't come after me with the tourches and pitchforks if I'm wrong as I can't remember if Yabuki-sama said how old Train was in the manga or anime.

Well anyway, Here's Malindchan and I hanging out during the shoot. In fact we were looking for more photo opts when I noticed this sealed up doorway in the alley. It made a pretty good bench, not to mention a pretty good spot for pictures (dispite the rather lewd graffitti *shakes head*). I also have to say it was awesome hanging out as Train with a Creed to tag along, especilly since my roomie has alot of fun with Creedy (and I can't say I blame her).
