"What seemed like only yesterday they just met at the Fortune Cup. One was a lost soul, allowing herself to only feel. The other was a marked criminal, just wanting to save his friends.

They didn't know that, like all of the other Signers, they were tied together by the mark on their forearm and the dragons in their deck. They didn't know about the triumphs and tragedies that would soon lead them to where they stood presently...

All they knew was, in the matter of a year they stood together as if they knew each other since birth. And thanks to the bonds they forged, they would become strong..."

When I heard that there was another Aki and Yusei at Anime Iowa I was estatic. Seriously, who wouldn't want some past meets present shots at such a lovely convention as Anime Iowa. I wasn't expecting to meet a group of people so sweet that they are one of the reasons I look forward to the con next year.
