When I first saw this deviation, I couldn't believe that it was a picture, until you mentioned you use a Canon.
I was so amazed, I had to stop and stare at the details for a bit--to understand every detail, from the intricacy of the dewdrops, to the minute details within the petals. It was as beautiful as any other painting of a red rose, but the difference was, this was captured in real time.
It's not everyday that a mere image makes you ponder and gaze in awe. Everyone can take a picture of flowers laden with dewdrops, but it's not everyday that a picture would make someone stop and appreciate the beauty and mystery portrayed by the photographer.
Great Job. *manly backpats* 8>!!

Oh, what a beautiful picture! It's so stunning! I have seen pictures of roses in the past, but I've never seen one as beautiful as this! And the dew drops really complement it! The zoom-in is amazing, and at an angle make it more pretty! The lighting in this picture really complements the color and the dew drops! The petals in this rose just look absolutely beautiful! Oh, and I just love the color! I was first speechless when I saw this picture. This picture makes me want to go out in a rose garden and frolic everywhere, throwing rose petals! Again, this is an amazing picture, and I hope to see more beautiful pictures from you! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

Roses and waterdrop shots are very common. However, this shot is simply stunning! The first thing I loved in this picture (and the first that I noticed) was the colour. The red in it is just outstanding!
Second was the the glistening petal and then the 'fuzzy' petal to the right of the picture. The two different textures and the detail to them is a very nice touch to the photo.
The placement of the waterdrops aren't the main focuz of the photo, it seems, and I like that. I think some more care could be put into the reflection in the waterdrops, because it is slightly distracting.
Overall, a classic subject but a wonderful outcome! Simply gorgeous!!

Once again, this picture blows my mind. This is probably one of the best photos I've seen with a rose, honestly. This is so up close and defined the veins of the rose are shown and the smoothness as well, which does much more than amazes me. The water drops really help and are a nice touch and since there so defined I can see the rainbow glistening inside them! The petals are so crisp and beautiful it makes me want to cry! (Not literally....but you get the point) I give my respect and say: this is picture perfect image. a.deviantart.net/avatars/c/l/c⦠" alt=" " title="clapplz"/>

It's a beautiful piece to look at, and so rare that anyone makes it so lovely and beautiful. A sensational piece that I can say I love the whole piece.
It's very not so original to make shoot a flower, but I must say, the camera work if flawless. It's delicate, and pristine, and the color red is so vibrant I can't comprehend.
It's rare for me to speak of a piece I can envy, but I think the contrast, balance, structure, and composition is something I can't do at this time.
It's a fabulous work that I don't see enough or take to heart when it comes around. I have no clue of how this is done....don't want to know, but it's beautiful!
