Wow ! immediately from the main gallery your shot drew me in with the soft tones yet vivid colors ! Im a sucker for macro, and this is certainly a fine example. The bokeh here is to die for. The detail captured is superb and the composition is great ! One thing that made this shot interesting for me was that when I viewed it originally, I imagined the droplet of water as a planet and the different colored rings in the feather, to be rings of debris around the planet, like saturn. The background gives off a very good impression of being "lost in space" (thought, time, etc) and the way the foreground color slowly fades to the background as one looks deeper into the image really makes the shot I think. The whole macro water droplet thing isnt exactly original, but you managed to make it new and appealing to any macro lover. I really have nothing to suggest at all that would benefit this image. I like it precisely as displayed and hope others enjoy it as much as I have e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

i love the sharpness, but i do not really like the color of the surroundings, seems dead.
but the gradient on the droplet is nice.

I feel as though I am familiar with the material used in the photo. In any case, very nicely done! The colors and the focus are just astonishing!

Really great shot the colors are so warm. An I think that also shows that even if you have old model camera (yes Canon EOS 350D is already old @_@) if you have the skills you can made a true art
. But I`m wondering what lens did you use here? Except that is for sure macro lens XD ...
