I did it, I finished the picture. *.*Those two are Yuan and Botta from Namco's Tales of Symphonia for NGC (and PS2 xD).
I don't really remember how I came up with the whole idea. I think I was inspired by a fanfiction I read a while ago. ^^
The REASON I drew it is simple: Look at Chibi!Botta. Look at his ears. Oh how long did I DESIRE to draw such cute elfish ears...? *_* And since they fit children WAY better than adults... I drew Botta as a child.
For the background I actually gave Triet Base a training yard, which it doesn't have in the game. But who cares anyway? XD
Ah, and no, I don't really think Yuan and Botta knew each other for such a long time. I made up a biography for Botta (to use in fanfiction), that states he joined the Renegades at 15 - but this sweet littel chibi-child is DEFINITELY younger. <3

Holy HELL, this adorableness... It might be fatal. O____O The idea that Yuan took in and raised Botta as a kid is an AWESOME one. Someone needs to write a fanfic about it! AWWW!!! Do you have a FF.net account? I should really read some of your stuff. Botta joining Yuan at 15 is an adorable idea as well. As Zelos says in-game, they've been together for a long time. ^^

The cute just about killed me. For real. When I first saw this, I went "awww!", then started grinning, and was about to laugh because it made me so ridiculously happy, but laughing isn't a good idea right now because I'll just end up choking. Stupid cough.
