LoL, this was just a halloween costume. I do know what your talking about though, the masks that cover their mouths.

those where perhaps soft versions, the one i am speaking of is where there are spikes inside the masks..in such places that they where impaled facially but not in such a way that they would die (quickly) but in such a way that they could not speak or make any facial expression without putting themselves in a world of pain because of the spikes having them impaled
