Even in the beginning, I knew Vegeta would lose to android 18. Android 18 was the only villainess I knew of in the DBZ series. She was amazing.
Vegeta's arrogance only made him weaker as he should've called off the fight. Instead, he almost gets killed.... by a girl. That was humiliating for Vegeta. Super Sayian wasn't enough to beat the androids. It never is.
