SO I suppose this hasn't been announced to the internet, but a while ago my OC Davis (who I thought was genderfluid) came out as Trans, and Davis will go by Clover, and is in a slow process of self discovery B) She is in an inbetween phase where she's still presenting as a male outside, and is trying to comfortably learn about herself in peace.So she's still shaving the sides of her hair and keeping it in a ponytail, but growing out the top so she can dress up a bit at home.
I've been talking and thinking about her story so much but I always get a bit nervous to draw her because I want to draw her just right!! So here's a little illustration. I think she's a lot happier these days though, now that she's away from her overbearing family.

haha yess~ She wasn't really into wigs because they are hot and uncomfortable, so instead she has been using a lot of expensive hair products and trying to take really good care of it so it'll grow out!! She originally wanted to have super long hair but now that she's got it to her shoulders it's so cute and fluffy so I think she might keep it like this for a bit! The thing is .... other people have drawn her with her long hair, but I haven't drawn her with anything longer than her hair being swooshed over her undercut ahh~ I need to keep up, thank god for MysticalDynamite making some fab illustrations of her with her longer hair.

I liked Davis, I even remember his arts when "he" was at the beginning of genderfluid, there came the news that Davis becomes Clover and assumes his transsexuality. I liked it because being Davis or Clover continuing to love his OC. Clover is very stylish, very pretty and I loved this skirt (look I do not really like skirts) florida all stamped. Thank you!! I think Clover is perfect for her because it's not too overbearing and flamboyant, just kinda cute ya know? One of the reasons that Clover had issues realizing that she was trans was that all of the trans representation she had seen growing up were like drag queens and over the top personalities, and she didn't associate well with that image. She was always kinda quiet growing up.
Once she realized that she could just keep being herself, just a more comfortable version of that, she realized that she was trans and this new part of her life began B)

Yeah it's a very relaxed and soft kinda name. It works well for a quiet type of person, I think. And I kinda know how she feels then, in a way. I took forever to realize I was trans because the representation of trans men I saw was... well, nothing. So.. I didn't even know about that for the longest time, I only knew about trans women. Didn't help that even after I found out, my mom kept saying there weren't actually any trans men, you know because kids usually believe whatever parents say when they're little so I just listened. And I thought I was gender fluid for a while because I wanted to look girly sometimes, but I realized I never actually felt like I was a girl I just wanted to wear feminine clothes...
Sorry, I went off on a personal thing for a minute there oops ^^' I'm happy for her that she was able to finally realize this though ^^
