AH FINALLY THE LAST OC FOR MY TH. This took longer than anticipated.

For those who don't know Rex (Like all of you since I only drew like one illustration of him 2 years ago... although kudos to you if you do remember, gold star 4 u), he's in the military, a soldier.... But like, in space, cuz space war.

He had his leg chewed off by an alien when he was first deployed, and now has a prosthetic. The whole experience was super traumatic and he has some PTSD going on because of it. The war took everything from him, and he's willing to fight until he's dead. He doesn't want to sit around being useless and replaying that whole event in his head again and again.

He ends up going in to train for being a pilot, and now he does that instead of being on foot. To help with his nightmares and keep him calm during down time (Silence is a killer for Rex's mental state) they sent him out on parole with a companion, which is this little Milkpup, named Coco. Coco is meant to keep him company and also take care of him, if anything were to happen, bu in reality, it's a lot of Coco getting into trouble and Rex takes care of her a lot more than she takes care of him haha.

Milkpups are a closed species by @CrosseRabbit and I purchased Coco from MysticalDynamite a while back, and .. was pretty excited to hear that this cute lil thing was a closed species. I've never owned a character that was a closed species before. Makes me feel all VIP LOLOLOL . Okay but since then I've been doing extensive amount of research on Milkpups, and they are meant to be companions to other milkpups or humans... but after looking up art of them I was surprised to see that nobody else has given their pup to a human! I knew I had to pair Coco up with helping Rex, because he would appreciate her a lot, even if she is a bit OVERLY excited to be stuck in a small airship most of the time.
