also i read you used a "cp filter"? what exactly is that... i really know nothing about photography, all my work i play with in photoshop to catch the good feelings of a shot..

CP stands for Circular Polarizer. It helps in intensive the sky and soften/eliminate reflections. Hope that helps.

Actually I just used a CP filter which was enough to tie down the dynamic range of this scene. Thank you for stopping by.
