I do not own kingdom hearts or its characters, all characters belong to Disney.I just made this to show the obvious differences...I hate how people say roxas and ventus are the same =x=; they obviously aren't... yeah I was bored etc etc
anyway here ya go

and Ventus has blonde eyebrows while Roxas has brunette eyebrows. and Finally! Someone notices what I notice. Cept for the more muscle in Ventus part.

just a note. roxas came into exsistance when sora turned into a heartless... so sora isnt the youngest. roxas is.

To be honest, I'm not so sure Roxas's skin tone is actually darker. I mean, we only ever see him in The World That Never Was and Twilight Town, both worlds were there's not much light. Then again, I never paid attention to the scenes in 358/2 Days while I was playing it... (borrowed bf's DS and friend's game to play; didn't finish. >_>;; )
And just where exactly are you getting your ages from? I can understand Ven being the oldest since he came first and then Vanitas, but ROXAS being older than SORA? I'm sorry, what? Roxas is Sora's Nobody, therefore, I see him as the youngest.

Β Alright, there's a lot to be said here...
1st: Everyone's right: Roxas is the youngest.
2nd: This is something I've been struggling/experimenting for a while. I've always believed that there are/has to be differences between Ventus & Roxas' physical appearance (not just their personalities).
3rd: Having said that, we can never really know for sure as of now if Roxas & Ventus really look identical or not because as KitaraStrife said, both characters are from different games. Different games, worlds, & other factors including the loss of KH files (which Sony did for KH)/upgrading have & will change the appearances a little with all the characters, so comparing these 2 characters eith pictures will not give accurate results. If we were to compare 2 characters from the same game or even console platform, we would have more of an accurate reading. From the 2 pics of Ven & Roxas, Ventus' hair is more HD than Roxas which differentiates the browner hair; plus Roxas is from DS (less graphics than BBS which was on PSP) & most scenes w/ him were done during the sunsets (meaning his hair had to be more yellow to stand out). These are some things to think of. These pints listed above could also explain why they are different too.
4th: Here's why I think Roxas & Ventus could look exactly the same: Roxas looks so much like Ventus because Ven was resting in Sora's heart when Sora turned into a Heartless, therefore creating his Nobody, Roxas. What's confusing is the rules/properties of becoming a Nobody is messed up. Roxas looks identical (maybe) to Ventus, yet has Sora & Ven's combined personality. However, as everyone knows, the Nobody's name is a scrambled version w/ an X in it (only w/ Organization XIII of course which Roxas was in). So it makes you think: is Roxas Sora's Nobody, or Ventus'? My last point is most Nobodies look exactly the same as their previous lives (example: Axel/Lea, Braig/Xigbar etc.), so it's possible that Ventus & Roxas look exactly the same.
Until we see KH III, we are not going to fully know if the 2 are really identical or not, haha.
Finally, I have to say I really like your picture on the character comparisons: they really make people think & you bring up good points!. Just remember to be careful when analyzing.

I think that has to be the LONGEST reply to a comment I've ever read. o.o Questioning if Roxas is Sora's or Ven's nobody is a good point, but if he really is Ven's, then I believe that since no one KNEW that Ven's heart was residing inside Sora all this time that THAT is why his name becomes an anagram of Sora's with an X thrown in--because everyone believed him to be SORA'S nobody.

Huh? Roxas was created when Sora was 14. At that point, Roxas had the appearance of a 14 year old and joined the organization. That's why when Sora's 15, Roxas looks 15, like in the second game.
