Description
Well it seems so far that my weekly scheduling idea has already proven to be productive as this is finally done!(and a reveal WIP for my secret project shouldn't be too far off either...sssssssssh! X3) I present to you, my custom native American Keyblade forThis is my first ever shot at designing my own keyblade and whilst I'll be honest, I'm not entirely sure what i think of how this turned out, i'm relatively happy with the design for a first attempt. Anyway feedback is always SERIOUSLY appreciated.
This keyblade was carved by hand from plywood. I wanted to keep this one a little more true to what it is so i tried to stick with my chisels as much as i could with this one, only using my dremel when things were getting really laborious. It was definitely interesting this time working with different textures like the wood branches and stone axe head. The whole keyblade was painted by hand with acrylics and a few wood stains since i wanted to try and keep more of a natural wood look. I really wanted this thing to look rough and wooden so there was very little sanding involved with this one (thank god X3)
Anyway like i said, a shot of my secret project (it's really not all that special or secret, i just like surprises X3) should be up by the end of the week and after that it's full steam ahead on getting Oathkeeper done. So please, tell me what you guys think and i'll try and keep it coming!

I like it! c: It's a unique design and really carries the Native American theme. Guardian Spirit is the perfect name for this design too, especially since it has the eagle, which I believe is a sacred bird to the Native Americans. The dream catcher keychain is a nice touch.
If there's ever a Pocahontas-themed world in KH (though honestly I'd prefer there wasn't xD) I'd want to fight with this keyblade!
Ooh and I can't wait to see the secret project, hehe.

Thanks, i'm really glad! Yeah, to be honest i wasn't all that happy with the name because i thought maybe it was a little too cliche and it just kinda seemed too close to Guardian Soul. Haha yeeeeah, idk how well that would work either. But again, thanks! I'm really glad you like it! :3
Haha it shouldn't be too long, it's coming out pretty damn nicely

This is indeed very well done. I am very impressed with how you kept to the "rugged" "native American" style, especially on the axe head. The bark looks very authentic and the wood stains are also a nice touch, really keeps the theme going. My Dremel tool is broken so I know how tedious it is to chisel out a keyblade so I respect your perseverance. I wish I was creative enough to design a keyblade but for now I'm sticking with replicas. All in all I'd say you have done a fine job and I anxiously await your next project.

Thank you! Well that's what i was trying to go for, was kinda worried it would just come out looking unfinished and nasty but i'm glad it didn't. Yeah, i figured stains would look a lot more natural than paint so it made more sense that way. Haha yeah i've had to go with out my dremel too and it's not always fun. Generally i really only use my dremel as more of a finishing tool than a carving tool so it's not as big of a deal for me but, i still know your pain X3 Fair enough, i'm pretty proud of how this one went for a first go. Well thank you very much, i'm really glad you think so!
