I can't remember how this came about, but for some reason, I suddenly wanted to draw Iris and some other X series characters in MMZ style. I already have Cinnamon and Nana sketched (though I'm not too satisfied with Nana's standing pose
). Iris' character design will most likely not be final. Her design seems to be too detailed in comparison to the official MMZ character designs. Also, I noticed that Iris and Ciel have really similar hairstyles... and personalities... 
...MMZ love triangle, what the heck!?

And it isn't really a love triangle when you consider the fact that there's alot of evidence pointing to Ciel being a human clone of Alia/Alia's daughter in a way... That would make Zero her god-father... Incest anyone? lol
Besides, Zero and Iris are meant to be together anyway.

I thought Alia was a Reploid, not a human. And, how exactly would Zero be Ciel's god-father? From what I've read, Ciel is one of those genetically-altered children who's really smart. Plus, I think her ancestor was the one who help create Mother Elf and made Zero's copy body when his real one got stolen.

Well, it's complicated to explain:
In X's ending of X6, Alia foreshadows that she created the mother elf.
Ciel could have been an experiment with DNA since reploids do have that, as explained in X6, converted to human form in order to preserve Alia's intellect and experiment with genetic altering at the same time, with the energy crisis being an active problem at this time and Alia being retired possible. It is also possible since Alia was originally a scientist. So if you have X + Alia, that would make Zero her god-father since he is their closest friend.
Ciel and Alia also have many physical resemblences, much like how Alouette and Prairie bear resemblence: Ciel's the only girl whom bears the "3 bang hairstyle", which also has a great resemblence to Alia's bangs, especially with her original design's helmet being similar to Ciel's. They also share the same color pallete including a red triangle on their chest (Ciel's skirt and the bottem of Alia's chestplate), and their personalites and roles in the game are much closer than when you compared Ciel with Iris.

You see, I never knew about the X6 plot in detail (never played the X series games). I heard the plot lines got screwy after around X5 or X6.
Now that you mention it, Ciel and Alia do bear resemblance. But, how does X play a role in being an ancestor of Ciel?

Anyway, X and Alia are commonly seen as a coupling, so it would be easy to imagine that he would be her step-father... It would be pretty cute to imagine X and Alia taking care of baby Ciel.
It's an idea I go with... Zero dies in MMZ4 anyway. He'd be in reploid heaven/cyberspace with Iris in any case.

Ah, I see. The X + Alia = Ciel equation would definitely make sense, given that Ciel has that pacifistic personality. And LOL, I prefer to go with the idea that Zero was alive at least until the ZX series rolled around.

XDD No, I wouldn't say that Ciel is their actual kid. Ciel (and Cial if you count the manga), would just be made from Alia's DNA converted to human... Sort of like how the Guardians were made from X's DNA... XD So that would technically make them all (step)-siblings.

Well, it's mostly fan speculation on Ciel's perspective... The Guardians are confirmed to be made from X's DNA, but their exact relationship with X isn't really known beyond formal standards.

Yeah, I remember reading something about the 4 Guardians being based off of X's DNA.
And I know Layer has long bangs, but her hair looks extra long in the sprite sheets.

Yea... So Leviathan IS Zero's god-daughter, Ciel has a large possibility of being Alia's daughter (which would be akward as is if Zero dated her), and Neige doesn't really like him... So Zero doesn't exactly have a chance with anyone in the MMZ series except Jaune and Rouge. XDD
XD Maybe. It was the best way to have them in MMZ style.

Well, I guess that means he's better off dead with Iris... Although she gets brought back in my story by Weil to take care of some of his creations (Such as Omega MK II) while he focused on preparing for taking over Neo Arcadia.
