Description
Just a quick concept that turned into a speed painting sort of thing after a spur of the moment inspiration from the latest comic chapter. I'd like to turn this into a proper illustration for a poster- but I'm just feeling disheartened in lacking feedback where it counts and don't care about putting in complete effort anymore.Related content

Fearful Flutter
By Zid
Speak of things that travel nightly
or that might come up and bite me-
None of these creatures can scare me.
Walk through graveyards? Just you dare me!
Spooky stones with names engraven.
Strange black feathered quoteful ravens
won't shake me or cause me shivers.
Bring the darkness! I won't quiver!
If you ask me why I'm like this
I don't mind stating my business.
This advice will help-you'll see!
Here's how to live your life scare-free:
Just befriend the vampire mare-bat.
She who knows where all the fruit's at.
Yes, a bat who's also mare!
She's why my night sojourn's aren't rare.
On moonlit nights she can be found
in fruit orchards-her hunting ground.
Upon sweet fruits bat-mare does feast.
Fresh apples she loves most not least.
If you bother to say "Hi!"
please talk kind to her for she's shy.
From the branch her tail wraps 'round
this gal can be found upside down.
She will teach you to converse
with spirits for she is well versed
in languages of the ghostly
though she prefers bunnies, mostly.
Small young bats are her forte.
In their care great skills displayed.
Much like her daytime persona
she's earned caretaking diplomas.
With these skills she'll teach you caring
and show you how to be daring
for by helping forest creatures
you'll allay their threatening features.
Knowing fear can be prevented,
Go forth! From daylight be relented.
Find the Flutterbat of fable
who hangs from her high tree limb stable.

Wonderful work.
I know the feeling. I write short stories and the lack of feedback is apparent. It sure is hard. But as long as you enjoy doing it, keep going.
But it sure helps to get some feedback, though.

You're a tougher troop than I am! I feel bad that I don't have an attention span long enough to browse written content on the internet other than blog posts. It takes me years to finish one novel XD

Well, I know that I lack something: free time. So, short stories is it! Also, I still struggle upon english vocabulary and expressions. Still fun.
I can't imagine then how long it would took you to read FallOut:Equestrian. I took me months! But there are people who are making comic version on it. I can't imagine how long it would need to make a SFM version of it. Think years probably.
Or last resort, audio books.
