trying to design aliens in my little fantasy cartoon world. They're energy beings from another dimension that need to look bizarre, mysterious and wise. And then I thought "well to look alien they need to look different from everything else" and thus the species lineup with their different potential palettes

They're extremely intelligent & wise beings that helped govern the land, but were always reserved and mysterious. Due to being aliens made of strange energy, their forms couldn't exist in this new atmosphere and over the many years they slowly decayed until they disappeared; in the present day only 1 is left alive who's been reduced to just a floating point of light and is also a bitch. Their existence was so ancient that very little is known about them, and they've mostly been forgotten.

idk why they ever left their home dimension in the first place i think it was just an accident and then they were stuck
