Discworld Death again. Gotta love this Pratchett character. The picture's title is based on an episode of the "Mort" book,which,I'm not sure about the exact translation in English,but it goes something like that:Death: "WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE FEELING YOU GET WHEN YOUR HEAD IS FILLED WITH SADNESS AND REGRET THAT THE WORLD IS EXACTLY THE WAY IT IS?"
"Sorrow,master. At least I think so."
"I AM SORROW ITSELF".
(Please forgive my inexact quoting,I don't have the English version of the book. )

I've never tried to draw a skeleton, this seems to be quite difficult 
I don't know if the quote is correct word by word, but that doesn't matter. It's just about what it wants to say - and this comes out perfectly!

Excellent work in putting your own style into Practchett's death here, similar but not quite the same as the one we see in official art. You have good control over watercolour (a medium I find incredibly difficult) & have captured the moment very well indeed.

Thank you. I'm glad you liked it after all. I haven't mastered watercolour,really,it's just heaps easier to use it when you've already drawn the outlines. My dream is to be as good as Paul Kidby in art one day. Then I can die happy. Thank you.

This picture made me smile. Death is my favourite character, with Rincewind as a close second.
He really does have a rather mournful expression, and that's not just because of being a skeleton, you've got the right light in his eyes. It's kind of dimmed. Very good work. ^^

Thank you. Yes,I understand. Death is my close second favourite character,Rincewind is a close third. Sam Vimes has the lead,though. And I guess being a skeleton doesn't necessarily make you gloomy,but knowing and remembering everything about the world,and mostly the evil side of it,does....
I feel like that sometimes,though I can never match up to Death.
I'll draw Rincewind soon. I made a promise to myself that I would. And Vimes,of course. But Death is just the easiest one to draw...
