Thranduil,the ruthless war-thirsty racist prima donna, the one and only Bitch King of Mirkwood we all know and love (and if you don't love him, that's because you don't know him well enough). Looking thrandy as ever in the beginning of spring.

Yes, I do respect Thranduil as a character, a constant source of inspiration, a role model and an independent political figure (if only he had a say in today's politics). Well, I know I could never do the party king justice with my pathetic art skills. The crown is meant to grow out of his head, as a living part of him rather than an accessory (that's how I picture it, at least). I know it doesn't look as good as digital, but it was painted in all kinds of paint leftovers on a f^&&**%*^*ing A4 sheet of paper, and by the time I'd finished it I was too tired to fix all the technical mistakes.

"In autumn, we look to the west and spill the blood of our enemies.
In winter, we look to the north and bury our dead.
In spring, we look to the east and celebrate the rebirth of nature.
In summer, we look to the south and salute the sun for the plenty it
has provided us with."

...And all throughout the year, of course, we party.
