I forgot to ask: what colors of the ShinHan Touch do you recommend for pale skin (like Merida's)? For darker skin?

Marvelous use of markers! I love the blend of colors and the composition!
Did you mostly use the Prismascolor, ShinHan Touch or a mix of both? I am not familiar with ShinHan Touch; where can one buy them? Thank you.

Hey there! Sorry for the late reply, but thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it.
Can't exactly remember, but I believe I used about half and half for the Prisma's and the ShinHan. The ShinHan markers are great! They're really vivid and tend to be pretty saturated so the color goes on like a dream without leaving streaks. I find they're a bit more expensive than the Prisma's but cheaper than Copics, and man are they worth it. Definitely worth investing in.
I found mine at my local art store but I'm afraid I don't know if all major art stores carry them. I would definitely try online (they tend to be almost half off the market price)

Thanks again, and I hope this helps!

Wow! I would have thought this was done with acrylic or oil colours, but for markers this is really astounding!

Thank you so much!
I'm afraid I'm pretty awful when it comes to acrylic and oil. I find markers to be so versatile!

Thank you, dear!
I used Prismacolor markers and Shin-Han Touch markers for pretty much everything.

Nice. I have a few Prismacolors, but I find that when you make a stroke there is a little dot-thing at the beginning where the color is soakier. I use Tombow markers, though they are very different because they are water-based. I love her cheeks and EVERYTHINGGGG...

SoulValkyrie In reply to gussie398 [2013-05-18 07:54:12 +0000 UTC]
Hah! I like that: soakier. But so true. I have to be pretty careful with them when I use them and even then I have some slip ups. The ShinHan Touch markers are a dream, though. They rarely give me problems. I also find the quality of the paper helps a lot with the bleeding.
I've never used Tombow markers before! Do you recommend them?
And again, thank you sooo much!
