Sigh i'm still yet to practice top down views. Any quick tip to get one started in the right direction

tip, eh? hmm, the good ol' "drawing boxes" does wonder when you're attempting some over-the-top angle? Just draw the vanishing lines for all 3 dimensions and make sure your boxes follow them. Then for anatomical details try to find a photo with a similar angle and try transposing
(kinda basic I know, but that's all I can come up with...)
