Wow, I went another whole month (or was it more like 2? ) without posting anything. And here I was doing so much better on that before. Oh well, I think I can safely say the heat in my room is partially to blame for that, and the other part was probably just laziness. But I really want a kitterbae or a kitterpillar and this is my chance, so today I finally managed to push myself to work on this. It's my first entry for 's MYO Kitterbae contest. I have 2 other designs made and I love all of them just about equally, so I am going to enter all of them. Also, I made kitterpillar versions of all three characters, so in total I will have 6 entries between the two parts of the contest once I'm done. I have no idea which one I want to win, but hopefully at least one will!

Here's some info about this little lady:

Name: Libby (subject to change)
Gender: Female
Species: Kitterbae
Theme: Bookworm

Traits: - 4 in. long
- short gray tabby fur
- no mane
- very furry tail done up to look like a bookmark tassel, complete with a charm
- thin, wiry antennae with reading lights on the ends; though the light look like lightbulbs and even have a coil-like thing inside, they
are not electric but bioluminescent like fireflies

Personality: Libby is a quiet and studious kitterbae who loves to read books. She will read anything she can get her hands on, so to speak, and she has an incredible memory which allows her to remember most of what she reads accurately. Since she is only 4 inches long, she has to sit in/on a book in order to read it, and while doing this she has developed a strange habit of nibbling on the edges of the pages and eating little bits of them, in spite of paper not being part of a kitterbae's diet. She feels like eating the book helps her remember it, and besides that it is just a habit and she can't help it. She also gets annoyed by how much bigger all books are than she is because she has a dream of creating her own personal library with all the books she has collected and being able to carry them around with her if she wants. To this end, she tries to write down what she has memorized from large books onto much smaller pages to basically make her own books that are her size. She holds her quill pen in her mouth when she writes, and through a LOT of practice, she has managed to learn to write pretty neatly this way. She likes to carry one or two of her special books around in the hood of her cape. She hopes to one day become a kitterpillar so she can grow large enough to be able to collect normal books.
