Okay, it's common, but not universal. Example of more or less the same size:Β Sparkstalker and Lightbright, Chromodome had Prowl before Rewind, Skids and Nautica, Needlenose and Horri-Bull, Greenlight and Lancer, Swift and Barricade, Knockout and Breakdown, Blast Off and Onslaught, Airazor and Tigatron.Β Lug and Anode might or might not fit.

Arcee in IDW was originally male right? (I heard that in one comic Arcee got forced Gender reassignment surgery and that nobody reading the comic was comfortable with it)

why you don't make a cool fanfictional crossover, you know Optimus prime crew and the Lost Light crew, with Megatron autobot, exploring the universe and having good time together for example:
Windblade, Chromia, Nautica and Velocity talking of their Conjux Endura, and surpass Skids....
Bumblebee and Perceptor with Rodimus and Ratchet doing stuff together, and remebering Wheeljack......
Tailgate, Cyclonus, Aileron and Arcee: would be hehe, enjoying a kareoke song of olde cybertronian, remeber when Cyclonus sing, I want to see Cyclonus and Arcee making a duo song for Tailgate and Aileron, and probably talking the two gladiators about their experiences.
The torchbeares would like to suit themselves in Swerves, and Optimus, Megatron and Ultra Magnus, will be trying to make order on the ship.

And I'm SO GLAD the retconned it. It was the most STUPIDEST thing they could have ever done making Arcee a transgender AND make femmes non-existent in the TF species. There have always been femmes ever since freaking G1, and Furman was WRONG for completely erasing the femmes and yet still calling the other TFs male. You make a very valid point about the latter.
Nothing to do with the picture, I know, but hear me out. And I'm not a slash fan either, but I came upon this picture because I'm watching your content and I always want to express what's on my mind.
