Speed paint on an old sketch to test out some of the new lighting and shading effects on the newest version of GIMP, which I recently updated/upgraded, I didn't realize the version I was using was several year's out of date...

Note: Shattered Glass is the transformers version of the classic Sci Fi mirror-verse trope, where the Decepticons are the good guys fighting against the evil Autobots.

I don't know why, I really love Orion's pose here, he looks pretty confident and cocky, not worried at all about catching red-handed a "thief" much bigger than him.

Yeah it's how they met.
Megatron was developing an interest in the Cybertronian history in particular the historical precedent of the caste system and was writing (under a pseudonym for his own protection) about stopping it and the corruption in the higher/governing castes). He also had something of an interest in literature and poetry.
Unfortunately data-pads / books particularly ones about pre Quintesson history were hard to get a hold of in Tarn (his home polity), so he'd taken to sneaking into the Iacon archives when his work took him to the city (as he was a mining transport and was often tasked with delivering Energon to other cities when he wasn't needed in the mines himself).
As he wasn't one of the data, archive, scientific or governing castes he wasn't allowed in the archives, so he would often 'borrow' data-pads/books.
This got Orion's attention after a while as he found his research material kept dissapearing, and reappearing in the wrong place. So he stopped up late to catch the thief, thinking it was a rival archivist trying to steal his research, only to catch Megs instead...
