Winter watched feebly as Amber placed three more letters on her bed, her bleary vision barely registering the white blurs.

a headcold. of all things to lay her low....

"Now for the part that you'll actually be happy about." Amber continued, her tone rising to a much happier octave. Winter turned her gaze to her partner, a weak smile coming to her face as it feel upon a large thermos in Amber's arms.

"Mama made sure to add extra noodles. "Valian Penicillin" as Grandmother likes to call it, this will fix you right up!" Amber said chipperly as she slid onto the bed. Helping Winter into a sitting position, she slipped the attached cup off the thermos and, popping the lid open, poured a steaming stream of chicken broth and noodles. Winter accepted the cup with a releived sigh, the warmth flowing through her hands.
"I can almosd Sbell id..." she said, her distorted voice bringing a giggle to Amber's lips.
"Let's hope you can swallow it!" she replied. Winter cocked an eyebrow at her partner.
"I dunno how you haben't godden sigg..." she droned. Amber shrugged.
"Luck of the Maidens, i guess. now come on, drink up!"
