Description
Since i can't make videos yet of my painting process, i put together an image of WIPs.I don't use anything fancy, Just a default round had brush at, with 9% spacing and let my pen pressure do the work. Near the end i will soften the edges a bit to blend more.

Ive always wondered, is the line/sketch layer on top or below the painting layers?

It is on top, for a short while, and i lighten it and erase most of it as i go till eventually i just flatten and paint over it. I usually only have 4 to 5 layers in most my work, depending on the details.

Wow, this looks awesome! How long did you take to learn and practice all this?

Thank you very much ^__^
I've learned to do this mostly over the last, maybe 2 years, with loooots of practice, daily work and sacrifices.

Any advice for a starter in this kind of drawing? I want to draw a bit more realistic

The Best thing to do is to do when starting and even after starting, are you anatomy fundamentals and then start learning values, color and light ... it takes persistence and lots of practice but if you keep at it you will be surprised how quick you keep learning more and more.

I see
Yes, the colours are what makes me more trouble then anatomy
But I'll give my best and try hard to get better ^^
Thanks for the advice ^^

You can do it, it just takes practice

Oh sure, practice is one aspekt, but you can also get so far with that. There's no training beyond a certain point except you've got the natural talent.
And while I'm kinda talented myself and already acquired some skills, I'll never be able to catch up with you. That's something I can objectively judge.
